What a statement! The one thing our D has been good at, in fact the best in the league since the beginning of last seaso,n is creating fumbles. What if they didn't fumble and we held them to FGs? We still win..
How bout we enjoy the W, and hope for a cohesive unit despite all the injuries..... and hopefully Capitol Punishment can continue to get takeaways whilst improving on the amount of yards they give up- and the sloppy tackling.
The Browns have a pretty solid offence, and to get the W the skins had to play hard and overcome all the injuries.
A win is a win, a week without pointing fingers at the HC should be in order imo

Are you freaking kidding me? Josh Norman has been the best player on the field.

I'm enjoying the win, but let's face it, if that would've been any team but the Browns, we'd be looking at another L. The penalties and the defense were atrocious, though the D did redeem itself somewhat late in the game with the takeaways. Can the offensive line block at all without holding? It seemed like they were either holding, or KC was getting hit. And what's with the D needing 3 or 4 players to make a tackle? Don't they know how to use their hands and arms? This team still can't play the basics, and Gruden has been there long enough now that we shouldn't be seeing this many elementary mistakes. The team just seems to be poorly coached. I know the D has a lot injuries right now, but what's the excuse for the offense? I'm not optimistic...
I think the fact that you wrote hashtag-anything on here pretty much tells us what we need to know.

Offense scored 31 points yesterday. What excuse are you looking for? Why did Matt Jones lead the league in rushing yesterday? Why did Cousins only throw three TDs? Why did Jordan Reed only catch two TDs? Why did we score four red zone TDs yesterday when we only scored three the previous three games? Why didn't they play a perfect game?
Good grief, people.

WTF are you talking about? I remember a holding call against Scherff that was textbook blocking, and should not have been flagged. But, other than that one, I don't remember more than one or two holds on a day where we scored 31 points off 4 TDs and ran the ball extremely well. Take your sour grapes elsewhere. The Skins won. Deal with it.

Yep. Our offense is doing fine right now. Not as hot as they were last year, but not bad by any stretch of the imagination.

The defense, on the other hand . . .
Yeah, the defense is indefensible. See what I did there? I'm honestly feeling like this will likely be a 6-10 kind of season because of that. Think I heard today that we are dead last in the league on third downs and by something like 10% points.
On the other hand, I think people need to get their heads out of the sand a bit and look around the league. We weren't the team that gave up 500 yards to Matt Ryan yesterday. (I guess SOMEBODY is missing Josh Norman.)

Cody Kessler is the team's 3rd string QB
AND
he's the starting QB for this game
AND
the current line is 9.5 and it should be 14
and some of you think we'd be better off playing against RG3
I'm sorry that Griffin's not playing but even healthy he would not be able to help this Brown's squad
as I thought last Monday - this game was never going to be close
we're on a roll now - 2-2 and we really should be 3-1
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

We were losing in the 3rd quarter...and had a 4 point lead in the 4th. What game were you watching?
lol. Total blowout.

we won by 10 and we should have won by more than that ... it was certainly not a total blowout but this game was never in doubt - even after Cousins gives up his 4th INT
thankfully someone gave him a tip before the game about how good Jordan Reed is and how he might be a scoring machine

the game is like the season - it's 4 quarters - losing the first 6 games means squat if you win the last 10
we're 2-2 and we should have won that game just like we should have won the game against the pukes

Oh man. You just love digging yourself into holes.
Never in doubt????? When you are losing in the 4th quarter and at one point CLE statistically had a 78% likelihood of winning --- I wouldn't call that "never in doubt".....
Re your Reed comment: Do you even know why Reed was more available/open against CLE vs. our other games this year? The reasons were VERY clear to anyone who has watched each of our games this year --- so the fact you even make a joke about it causes me to believe you missed it.
