That doesn't surprise me at all. The NYGs have the worst offensive line in the division IMO.

Mike&Mike seemed to be giving the Giants d-line all of this credit for keeping Zeke in check. I don't know. He should be a good RB, but he's still a rookie playing his first game. Not to mention these nfc east games are almost always tight like that.

I'm just not scared of the g-men at all this year. Suspect they're highly overrated.

For once I will agree except that Dallas should have won the game, Neither side IMO
was overly blowing anyone away with missed chances, NY had the 1 turnover the NO
stars converted into a touchdown outside of that? In the end it needed to end in a tie
just to do the game itself justice

And Dez was the victim of yet another non-catch, because he can't keep ahold of the ball through the act of going to the ground.

Joe Buck, who I have often considered to be a bit of a Cowboy fan, was spot on.

Paraphrasing, he said it is possible Dez's hand was under the ball the entire time thereby preventing it from hitting the ground. However, while the ball was not under his control, Dez contacted the white paint which is out of bounds. \:D/

The funniest part was the apparent shock on Dez's face. ROTFALMAO

If I read TC's rules correctly, he would say the play should have been over and ruled a TD the instant a molecule of Dez's arm contacted the turf. This is, of course, wrong since Dez went to the ground during the process of attempting to make a catch and control must be maintained during and after contact with the ground with or without contact from a defender. :-({|=

They are making a classic mistake down there in The Cowboyszone but at least they still care.

They're calling this Redskins Week.

There defense isn't any better trust me

Overall they kept Zeke and Morris to under a hundred, but how do they explain not pressuring Dak? now I agree
thus far the kid will be good eventually as he matures in the NFL. but Mike&Mike are seriously grasping at straws
hyping a Gints offense and defense that aren't that good

Sheli is the only thing holding it all together if the NO Stars did anything? they proved you
can pressure him, force him to throw INT's or even get em to fumble the rock

This time he couldn't hold onto it! slipped right through his hands

Wrong on both counts Monk, even if it had been caught inbounds (this time around) it was still
an incomplete pass due to the fact (see above) it managed to slip through his hands, whereas
in the GB game? the ball only appeared to have hit the ground when in fact it was securely
tucked away

Dude, we're living through the Dan Snyder era. Denial and silver lining excuses are a couple of my best friends. I make no apologies for it!

Agree with what you're saying. The NYGs have the Saints this weekend, so we'll see how well they do vs. Brees.

I've been living through the Jerruh era since forever and I can't make any
excuses for the fact he is by far the worst owner in the league

^^^ Another idiotic post.

BTW - they have over 5 pages of threads in the Cowboyszone on the first game. One idiot is arguing Dez caught the ball with TC's "down by contact" "logic" and the rest of the board is calling him out for the idiot he is. Mostly they are typing SMH and LOL since trying to explain it to the dude is total waste of time.

Good stuff.

I did watch the game and just like our team I did not see much to get a good feel for anything definitive - the pukes OL looks good but we knew that - the QB played OK but was not near as good as Aikman implied - the Dallas D does not look very good - the giants D line looks improved but their offense did not take full advantage of the pukes bad D

our offense should do much better against the pukes D and Dez B is not even close to being as good as Antonio Brown

causing the pukes to start off 0-2 in the division would be a disaster in pukesville
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Point being ??

... "with or without contact" ... SMFH

Note in first gif the FIRST THING TO CONTACT THE GROUND is a finger OUT OF BOUNDS.

Note in 2nd gif contact also occurs between ball and turf though denied by TC App.

Monk - your not going to pick a fight and start crap dude...cause I in NO way
am calling this pass complete, I acknowledged that his fingers were out of
bounds, but I also acknowledged if you had been paying close attention to
what I posted. That had he caught it! This time around he did not have the
control the ball went straight from his hands down to his knees

so whatever this clown at Cowboyszone is attempting to argue

I hope Josh Doctson turns into a great wide receiver because choosing him over an obvious need area of DL is hard to handle. Offensive line and defensive line win games. We all know that. It's pretty straight forward.

Watching the Skins line get mauled by Pittsburgh took away my confidence in the 2016 Skins. I watched a bit of a Dallas game and the their OL was opening big holes for Morris. Elliott didn't do much while I was watching but Alfred was enjoying a great game.

I agree with you about the Doctson choice. I hope he turns out to be a big part of the offense long term and I am aware Jackson and Garcon are both in contract years but I wish the Skins had used that pick for a starting OL in stead of a WR.

The Dallas replacement QB was looking good also so the Romo injury didn't seem to slow Dallas down. It will get ugly if the Skins get bullied up front and lose the game.

Dallas may have allowed 4.4 yards per rushing attempt to the Giants, which places them in the bottom ten, but the Giants allowed 4.2, which also places them in the bottom ten.

The Redskins allowed 4.8, which places them 31st, only .1 yards per attempt ahead of league "leader" New Orleans.

So, it stands to reason whichever team plays any defense whatsoever wins the game. Except that the Redskins are back to their "Score points?" mode.

The No Stars didn't just screw the pooch giving up that many yards rushing, the NO stars were torn apart
via the passing game as well and so..If Washington has any type of good run/pass protection with just
enough of a decent front 4, LB's and secondary, That 34-10 prediction will hold no worries
