That's interesting because Andy Dalton did the exact same thing the last year Gruden was there and the year after he left. 2013: 11-5, lost in 1st round of playoffs. 2014: 10-6-1, lost in 1st round of playoffs.

Of course, reddit is the oracle of football knowledge. What's next? Tumblr?

You're right! Jay Gruden was not even responsible for getting them to the playoffs or else they would have not have repeated. Good point. A couple of years after he is gone they are one of the last remaining 6-0 teams. It shows what a bill of worthless goods that guy is. AFL material all the way.

Let's see how they do in this year's playoffs before we start anointing Jay Gruden the problem and Hue Jackson the solution.
