I do not like this guy at all .... and to state he's a 'friend' of R. Goodell just rubs me the wrong way ...
John Mara on Instant Replay ...
New York Giants owner John Mara, speaking on WFAN in New York, indicated that he might be open to allowing replay for pass interference calls.
Mara is an influential voice among the owners and has the ear of the commissioner as well. He's also on the NFL Competition Committee, a group of eight members chosen from the league's coach and ownership ranks to oversee competition and suggest rule changes.
Pass interference and the ability to challenge it has been a big talking point in this year's playoffs, with the Cowboys-Lions Wild Card game arguably being swung by a picked-up flag on a pass interference call against Dallas linebacker Anthony Hitchens.
If Mara is thinking about changing his mind on the issue, you have to think the Competition Committee will at least discuss it, and would could possibly see pass inteference be challengeable as soon as next season.
one thing I would like to know is if during a replay you see an obvious infraction that was not called, why can you not bring it up?
if the main thing about instant replay is to 'correct' the call why not also make sure all infractions that occurred are noted
the number of missed holding calls that you see on instant replay should be a part of the replay
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I'd say roughly only 20% of the holding on any given play actually gets called. Probably only 10% when the Skins are on D.

I know that you're hoping for members here to hate the Packers, but I've seen people say that they wish that the Redskins were ran like the Packers organization.
I mentally ran through every uniform in the league and could only come up with Tampa's as a rival to the Pack's.
Green Bay has had the same uniform as long as I can remember...which goes back back back. Ugly? Seattle. I have to admit that Dallas-hating has lost its edge.
