Fantastic win. Oh joy!!!
I know there is more work and wins to go. But beating Ttit feels special every time.

Seriously never thought Colt was capable of this. I am glad to be wrong.

Agreed.

The vibe on MNF this week was eerily reminiscent of that night in 2005. (I half-expected 'Tana to provide similar fireworks, when he came into the game. LOL)

As funny as this may seem, switch the colors around, and we'd think "what a jerk" (if Dallas wins here in Dec and one of their fan does this at Reagan or Dulles)!

Which is precisely why it is so entertaining, you see.

Fortunately, until we get to the point where this kind of win happens all the time (and can be rightly labeled douches for doing something like this) we get to do it with impunity. Oh, and I'll still think this entertaining with respect to the cowboys when we beat Ttit even after we start to dominate, because duck fallas, that's why.

The fact that our team sucks, and has sucked for such a long time, is the reason why this is so damn funny. It just BURNS extra special hot for Cowboy fans to know that they lost to us.
Reversed, it would've been "meh, we've only won 2 games this year. What did we expect?"

It would've for me, at least.

HOW GREAT IT IS - for all the bad things that have happened here in recent years that 1 game is going to be looked at as STEP 1

what a difference it has made to our perception of our team and to the players and coaches as well

I'm trying not to be too UP about this but that was a HUGE win for everyone - fans, coaches, players - EVERYONE

You really don't think they suck? No, you're right. They're good-to-great, which is why they've lost twice as many games as they've won so far this year.
They can't even beat the Vikings. I live in Vikingland, and even these fans know that their team needs help desperately.

I'm not going to debate whether we suck or not. Half the league has more losses than they have wins. There are very few teams in the league who have been consistently good over a long period of time. And of those teams, you can bet half of them have a Brady, Manning or Roethlisberger at QB. lol. We are what we are.

I will say I'm glad this season that it doesn't feel like the exercise in futility it was last year. It was good seeing RGIII out there yesterday. I like seeing the young guys like Amerson, Breeland, Murphy and even Tom Compton getting meaningful game experience. I'm glad we got a good look at both Cousins and McCoy this season. It looks more like building than just plugging in re-treads every year trying to patch holes.

Personally I thought the win over the Cowboys was so sweet, because I think they have been way overrated and Jerruh was definitely getting full of himself. Like his genius had finally been proven or something. I think our win over them is just the start of their coming back to reality.

I don't think we suck but we're not playing well either - we do have a QB and we do have things we can build on

we've won 3 games - if we only win the last 3 games this season, we'll be 6-10 .... BUT, it will feel like 10-6

Are you seriously asking me to leave? Like, for real? To use your own vernacular, "hopefully you do not surround yourself only with people who look at things the exact same way you do, with no diversity of opinions at all ... what a sorry, pathetic way to live"

I am a Washington fan, and have been for a long time. I always considered this site to be a place where fans can come and express their opinions, be they positive and negative, so long as there's respect and no personal attacks. To be honest, you directly asking me to leave because of what I said (which was negative, but not offensive) is pretty much the opposite of what makes this a great site. I've participated when I could, contacted a few members away from this site, send money to members in need, etc. I am really not sure why my opinion that we need a lot of help is so offensive to you. I just refuse to look at life through burgundy and gold colored glasses. I'm too much of a realist for that.

If the admins and site owners want me to leave I'll leave. Until then, I will continue to respect my fellow posters, and express my opinions.
