I bet if he would've known that the team would be owned and run into the ground by Danny Boy he would've done everything in his power to make sure that John got the team....
I'm sure he rolled in his grave. I just don't believe Dan has done anything to hamper the Skins in the past 4 years or so.

The main problem; Wash has a couple well known skilled players and the rest of the team consist of players no other NFL teams want. Best case scenario some of second stringers would be some other teams practice squad players. Since Snyders reign of terror The Redskins have never had depth or ccomponent players were it has, truly mattered (see offensive line & special teams).
Developing talent has always been lacking ass well. The organization cant understand that lower round picks are where you get these players that make the nuts & bolts of a team. Sea understood that and built their destructive defense through drafts and teaching players how to play and be a team.
Im horrified to say thatll never happen here.

I don't buy it - what a load of BS
we lost the game because of a number of factors relating to our lack of depth and not being able to address the O line and the secondary ...
PLUS - most importantly because we did not have a very good game from both the coaches and the players ...
we should not look at how badly we looked IN 1 GAME and then state "it's a fact, we are a terrible team because we have a bad owner or are jinxed some way - that's STUPID
that 1 game was not a fair indication of where we are at all - I agree, we are not a very good team but we are not as bad as we saw in that 1 game
we have seen some bright spots this season and there are 12 games to go - if we play like that we'll lose every one of them but this group can do a lot better
it was very disappointing because I think we're better than the giants - we did not play as well as we are capable + we had some players dinged up on a short week
we may lose the next 2 but that is not so much because we're not a good team, we're playing 2 very good teams
how great would it be to see these guys play well enough to be in both games like we were with the eagles

After watching the Giants in the Atlanta game, I can say with conviction the Skins are clearly not a better team than the Giants...

Are you joking?
Gibbs 2.0 was probably the third best stint we've had in NFL Skins History behind Gibbs 1.0 and George Allen
Lets look at the stats:
In 4 seasons we went to the playoffs twice and played in 3 playoff games
That's better than we've done under any other coach in the other 18 years since Gibbs retired the first time.
Heck even combined, those other 18 years only equals the results of the 4 Gibbs 2.0 years
