Masters round 1 = big day for Tiger. Bogey on #1.

Should be interesting. Tom Watson shot 71.

Tiger certainly quieted a lot of critics - now he just needs to build on that ...

and starting with a birdie on the 1st hole of round 2 is a good thing for everyone

btw - Tom Watson bogeyed the 1st [-X
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I'll bet there were a lot of detractors that could not imagine a Tiger & Rory pairing + only 1 pair of golfers between them and the leaders

of the final 6 - the only guy I could not stand to see winning is the whiny Justin Rose

Did you hear him whine or is it just his looks?

It seems right now Tiger's 2 biggest problems are hitting fairways and strong competition. He certainly hits it far enough and when he was in the fairway he did some damage.

I don't like the whiny little toad ...

Tiger needs to get a much better percentage of drives in the fairway - 2/14 does not cut it

Was reading some comments on CBS with regards to Tiger confirming he will play at Wyndham:

Eldrick Tont "Tiger" Woods - Officially this week's #287 ranked player in the world. You might even say he's "lurking". He's #187 on the FedEx points standings, which is a full 100 places higher than his world ranking. Woods PGA earnings for the year, total $318,993, which ranks #172, just behind Max Homa and Chaz Reavie. At 10%, Joe LaCava (Wood's caddy) has almost reached poverty level. Those wanting to make a cotribution to Joe may do so at Please Fund Joe.com. But there's still "plenty" of golf to be played...on a global level.

There's now more laughs to be found reading Porter's Tiger drivel, than watching the Comedy Channel.

"Tiger has heard great things about the event..." Really? And what are those great things? The Wyndham or Greater Greensboro Open, has been in existence since 1938. It's just down the road a piece from Andy, Aunt Bea, and Goober. Just follow the Stuckey's billboards along Tobackie Road. By comparison, the John Deere and Valero Open look like majors. It's the shortest track on tour, a par 70, 7,000 yard "monster". Curiously, Mr. Woods has elected to ignore the tournament his entire life and has never played there. And suddenly, "...he's heard great things about it"? Sounds like the glutes might be misfiring a bit.

One of the great things Tiger may have heard about the Greensboro Open, is that they have a great Pancake House called Tex & Shirley's out on Pembroke Road. Got a lotta nice girls. Yelp gives it 3.5 stars. Open daily 'til 9:00PM. Ask for Misty.

If you're planning on making the trek to Greensboro to worship Tiger, you should stop by Foreign Cars Italia off Exit 143. They got a lotta nice cars. Seriously. One of the oldest Ferrari dealers in the country.

"I still have plenty of golf to be played for the rest of the year. And as I said, on a global level." Seriously? It's actually hard to believe that Woods would even say something that stupid. Anymore, every time this guy opens his mouth, it's hilarious, delusional, and oh so so lame.

But take heart Woodsies. Lindsay Vonn says "Tiger will win again." Probably not on the PGA Tour, but on a "global level". And who should know better than Lindsay? And Notah Begay and Mark O'Meara wholeheartedly agree. Fred Couples says that Tiger would still be on his team, and Tom Watson would still leave it up to Woods to decide. And of course, ESPN stuck a mic in Jack's face and asked him for the 837,432 time if he thought Tiger would surpass his records. And in his normal polite fashion, he once again replied "Yes". (The microphone didn't show his eyes rolling when he answered).

Question for the day. How much longer do you think the Golf Channel will maintain "The Tiger Tracker"?

Until next time.

"All right, let's roll... Hey... Let's be careful out there."

Wow. If anybody can come back from all this it's Tiger but things are looking more and more bleak.

I'd say in major's he's pretty much done, especially with Fowler, Snedecker and Mcilroy
playing as well as they have, Tiger can't compete with the next generation of "golfers"
but what's sad, truly sad, Is Tiger won't admit it! to the point where? he needs to step
away from the bigger picture and begin playing at tournaments, where the winning or
the money isn't important. Regaining the game he's lost should be the main focus

tournies like? The Travler's Championship, In Cromwell CT, a place where some
good names come out to play each year, again it's about the game needing to be
elevated this course I believe gives him that, But Eldrick not Tiger isn't going to
allow this to happen

So he'll just have to suffer and eventually realize the roar of the Tiger
is now just the mere pure of a kitten
