The only "evidence" of this is contained within your own cranium... This was Shanahan's pick... unless he is one hell of a good actor... you may recall that he was absolutely giddy over the selection... unless, of course, that memory is not convenient to your postulation. There is just nothing to suggest that Snyder's role was anything more than to say "Yes, you may pull the trigger". It was a very serendipitous coincidence that Bob was also a marketing gold mine. If Shannahan made the decision to spent 3 first round and a second for Griffin than he has earned his fate and deserves to be fired, if it was imposed on him we will hear from him upon his departure. I think it was a Snyder decision because he is a master marketeer and knew he'd make fortune in sales on Griffin. The exorbitant cost made the deal even more attractive for Snyder because of the enormous splash it made. I could be wrong, maybe Shanny was in on it but he was a conservative draft guy in the past while we all know Snyder's propensity to opt for the mega deal.
