IS there a way?

So you used the consensus for your picks last year? This year we'll get to see the real ACW.
Not entirely; but it's not a bad thing to have for guidance. Hell, even this week I'm picking DAL over NYG. Because ;furious; Mara.

There seem to be several players (me being one) who've joined but aren't listed in the standings. We're under players, though so I guess our names will be added after the first games' results are in. It did let me make my picks already, but you may want to look into that, DM.

I can't remember the last time I played, but I'm going to try to stick with it this year.

Clicking Full Standings brought up a bigger list but still didn't get everyone??

I have been out on assignment and I just returned home.

Well ... I was going to do something different for the Hognostications this year. I had proposed a weekly analysis pre- and post-NFL week game days. Some of you said you missed the good'ol fashion days. I had also requested a donation for Bosshog as a requisite to enter both Hognostications 2013 and the be part of the commentary posted weekly:

http://www.the-hogs.net/forum/viewtopic. ... sc&start=0

Things have taken their own different way and path. I understand that I am late even if still ahead of week one and I respect your choices. I will not run Hognostications this year and I will not make a commentary.

I will think about possibly joining this year during the rest of the week.

How about still doing the weekly commentary, and we'll just let CBS do the scorekeeping? Less work for you, and we still get that old-timey feel. 8)

The important thing to me was not the work or the commentary (even if it could be funny), the important thing to me was the donation for Bosshog.

I gave. I still think you should do the commentary. Don't be spiteful.

Perhaps a different guy each week could do a brief commentary.

Maybe it could be the weekly winner ... or the last place guy.

Thoughts?

As I said above, I did not mind doing it. I had done it several years during the early ages of this competition.

My MAIN motivation was to try generate DONATIONS to Bosshog, the owner of this website at a time of need.

The only way out now is to keep encouraging all Hognosticatios 2013 participants to do so. I will start with the commentary for a while and see if and how everybody contributes.

My picks are in... But don't show up on the standings board either..
Sure its there though, under "players" there is the full list... I chose Denver for the opener if it needs to be redone.

....and for some reason I can never pick the pukes, any kind of satisfaction of them winning is non existant for me. A tally for my total Wins ill have to make up with wild picks.. Oak town over indi?! Lmao

I'll look into that. I tried to change my MNF score and noticed that as well.

After this week I am going to reset the lock to ...

"Five Minutes Before Days First Game - Games for each day will lock five minutes before the scheduled start of the day's first game. For example, if there is a Thursday night game and a member did not make a selection, they would still be able to make selections for the remaining games. Please note - pool member's selections will only be displayed in the "View All" picks section for games that have locked."

This pretty much boils down to 8:20 PM for Thursday games, 12:55 PM for Sunday games, and 8:35 PM for MNF with obvious exceptions ... perhaps to be noted by the Deadman.

I don't feel like I "screwed" anyone because it was all there in "black and white" but I think the new setting will be better. I also do not want to change it right now because all picks have been on display since Thursday night.

No worries, DM... learning curve for everyone... (eg: Ravens are stupid.)

Yeah, no worries, but please do change it (and glad I changed my pick in the NO game in time).
