Liked the way Minnifield played D. Henderson on one route. Good jam, played proper shoulder, stepped in front for an INT.
Liked the coverage by Minnifield on one route by Garcon. Played him well; on inside shoulder, used eyes well. smart.

Any word on the progress of Chase Minnifield and Brandon Meriweather? I think the secondary is more important this year than the pass rush.

Minnifield looks great, but the question is whether they can trust his knee to hold up, and the answer is likely no. So if they keep him, they may need to keep an extra CB for insurance. Meriweather is a guy they're being careful with, but indications are that he'll be ready when the season starts.
Wow that's awesome! Really hope he keeps it up; been anticipating his contribution for a while

redskins.com:
Minnifield continues to impress with his physicality and motor, and appears to have drawn the good-natured attention of his veteran receiver teammates. After a catch in traffic during 1-on-1 drills yesterday, Joshua Morgan stared him down. An ongoing rivalry with third-year receiver Leonard Hankerson continued today, as he fought Minnifield off of a jam at the line and both players ended up missing the ball. If he can remain healthy, No. 25 will be an intriguing player to watch when preseason action begins next week.

Well the bottom line said sprained knee ligament... We all know how trust worthy the bottom line is tho. I did some research and it appears you are correct. Him and Trent had little booboos in camp but should be fine.
Sorry for the misinformed post everyone

Can't get worse. I think they will improve though. Josh was never the same last year, hopefully he should be better. If we can use Hall's ball hawking in the right situations without relying on him so constantly he'll be more effective and less damaging. With the other new guys and youngsters in the secondary, they should get better as the season goes on as well.
