Let them talk trash all they want. It makes for good bulletin board stuff to piss our players off and add to their resolve.
Yep. It pisses our fans off too. I expect a lot of beer and anger prior to this game. It's a 4 o'clock kick. That crowd will be sauced up by then.

Nice way to motivate our team, hawks. Keep it comin'
On another front, the video just reminded me how AWFIL an INT machine Grossman was. And EVEN with that, we won that game.
Both teams have improved since then but I like our chances.
Much better run stopping teams than the Chawks have tried and failed to stop the Skins' running game. They couldn't stop the run last year when the Skins were the 25th ranked running game, with Helu, a 640 yard RB. But now they are somehow going to stop the #1 running attack with a 1600 yard rusher at RB and an 800 yard rusher at QB.
That guy is a MORON!
I hope and pray they load up to try to stop the run!!! If they do they are guaranteeing themselves a loss! They won't be able to stop the run and RG3 will throw for 300-350 yards and 4 or 5 TDs.
Dallas showed them the blueprint last week. Drop back, play coverage, and let the running game get what it is going to get. Dallas had a game plan that would have worked if it wasn't the month of Romocember!
If they try to guess run/pass they will guess wrong and RG3 will have a good day throwing the ball (but not great), Alf will have a good game, and RG3 will have a good day running the ball too.
If they try to stop the run, they lose! If they try to play situation D, they lose. If they drop back and take the pass away and dare us to stick to the run, they have a chance!

They’re the No. 1 rushing team in the league, I think. As soon as we shut down the run, they’re gonna have to resort to the pass, and that makes them one-dimensional. So that makes knowing what they have to do easier to guess, just because they know they can’t run the ball so they have to pass.”
It's as easy as that. Just shut down the #1 rushing attack in the NFL, and force the league's most accurate passer to throw the ball.

Of course it was DHall that was the instigator of that fight..........
This is one of the first times I have done this (most likely because it's the playoffs), but I have gone on SEA message boards --- and I find it odd that SEA fans think this is an easy win while Skins fans feel it is an easy win for us.

Thats what I thought too but then I watch it one more time and seen that London Fletcher was doing a lot of talking too and whatever he said made them really mad lol

I see you over there at Seahawks Net message board. I'm waiting on my activation so that I can get in on the discussion.

many here are just obviously VERY biased
I do not see any Redskins game as an "easy win"
I think that the team has been prepared well and played very well since the bye week - I also think that the coaching/game calling has been outstanding
the players have executed well - we have found ways to win
I am confident that we can win this game but I doubt it will be an "easy win"
we will win because the game is at FedEx and this Redskins team is finding ways to beat "better" teams

I've never seen such arrogance from such a joke of an organization. But then again--Pete Carroll is the coach.
Motivation, motivation, motivation for the Redskins ... I gotta love it.
ANYBODY wants to bet that there might be a fight BEFORE the game starts AGAIN this year?
I hope we are smart but the trash talk on the field will be glorious. I suggest they mic D. Hall or L. Fletcher this Sunday.

Not only have they already looked past the Redskins, but apparently they've predicted the MIN Green Bay game too. If MINN wins, they go to ATL regardless of the winner of the SEA WAS game. Like I said, you can't fix stupid.
If they Mic Up D Hall, they'll have to air it on cable. Rated R
This Redskins team has a history of hurting people. Not that I'm wishing for that, but I don't think the Seahawks know what physical is. Ask Michael Vick, Adrian Peterson, LeSean McCoy etc. We play football the way they want to play.
Stay loose Matt Flynn.

I'm sorry but the Chawks are not a better team. They beat the same number of teams we did.
I know, their record is 11-5, but any football fan will tell you, GreenBay beat the Chawks. The scab refs just awarded a won to the wrong team.
The Skins are 10-6, the exact same record the CHawks should have. This isn't a woulda coulda, shoulda thing. The refs simply awarded a win to the team that lost!

Yeah, if they played in the NFC East, they would understand what smash-mouth football is.

I DO NOT think the Seahawks are a "better team" based on their record - I think they have a better defense, a better special teams group and their offense is not as good as the Redskins
-
they are a little "better" than we are, is all - AT THIS TIME
I do NOT look at teams as "better" because of their record - the giants were NOT a better team than the patriots in the 2 seasons that they ended up beating the stupid Patriots in the Super Bowl
The Seahawks ARE a "better" team than we are but I think the Redskins players/coaches will find a way to beat the "better" team on Sunday at FedEx
IF the Redskins are the "better" team, then why do the bookies, who know NOTHING about the game, but do "know" which team will generate the best result for the bettors, have the Seahawks as the "favorite"?

Per Mike Shanahan on ESPN980 "RGIII WILL wear the brace this week."
I was hoping he could take it off for the playoffs. Whatever. We beat them with Rex, so let's go anyway.

The brace is helping his confidence to a certain degree (per Shanahan's earlier comments) and is preventing further injury, so it's a no-brainer for him to wear it.

The trash talk continues. Keep it comin Seattle. Your players, your fans, your radio hosts. Thanks.
“The Redskins defense ain’t that good, all right?” Mahler said. “And this may be one of the worst defenses [Seattle has] faced all year long, especially on the road. The Redskins are like, what, 28th in the NFL in total defense? They’re old, they’re tired, they’re not fast. This is the perfect opportunity for the Seahawks to go out there on defense and just do what they’ve been doing. We’re not asking for anything extra, we’re not asking for anything less. Just go out there and continue the trend. And the offense, against that Redskins defense, should be just fine. So I do trust them on Sunday.”
“No Orakpo, for some reason now people think Josh Wilson is a good corner?” another host person said. “He’s just a guy. He’s just a guy.”
“Oh c’mon,” Mahler continued. “Listen, if there’s anybody who should know what Josh Wilson’s all about, it’s the 12th man. DeAngelo Hall is old and tired. Gimme a break. These guys are ripe for the picking on Sunday…
“Look, they may play Washington 10 times and win seven or eight of ‘em. But it’s not about being a better team than Washington. They ARE a better team than Washington. Man for man, player for player, I think they are a better team.”

During RGIII's presser, he said he wants to take it off, but the trainers won't let him. Says he practices without it as much as he can, untill they realize he has it off and makes him put it on. Said he might take it off this week.
Nonetheless, we don't need him to be 4.3 to win. John Elway won 2 Superbowls wearing a knee brace.

The arrogance of those people from the Northwest is rather comical. I guess by their standard we shouldn't even show up to play them this weekend, because we are destined to lose. Those who tend to talk most usually get embarrassed in the end so I hope they keep on a talking throughout today and tomorrow.
