Are we using the replacement refs who are incompetent on this or the regular ones who hate us?

The ones that can't remember the original call once the review starts, now if you want to challenge the review that's cool we'll be more than happy to review the review of the last review. Remember we are trying to be like the NFL so we aren't really talking to the other reviewers or making any attempts whatsoever to find out what the original call was.

We can do this because a yellow flag is better than a red one any day. Now this isn't challenge able but if you were to throw a burgundy flag, I'm sure we'd look at the situation differently. For the record there are no reference to the Redskins on any of our Fb pages, unless somebody missed the memo to remove them ASAP

Considering the new refs can make up the penalty yardage as they go don't be surprise if someone tops your burgundy flag with a gold one.

Welcome.

I took your post as big-talk and humor...as when I say "I might have to take a volume of Knuth's Art of Computer Programming and bop somebody in the head with it".

In the real-life Hogs Net, I think the worst offense tends to be a personal attack on another poster. We have usually tried to follow a model of: disagree with the opinion, but don't insult the person.

You have been pointed to a set of board rules. There are usually rules within the rules, and Hogs Nets mods are level-headed people...good common sense. Best anywhere...otherwise, this board would not have lived so long and prospered. [yes, Spock-reference] I'm trying to think of the underlying principle to behavior that "ends badly".

Of course, there were other rules, such as:

- never call Art Monk "merely a possession receiver"

That one is obsolete, though.

Allow me:

I'd like to kick Haz's ass.

I'd like to take Kyle out back and have him run a few options. I'd also like to confiscate his binky.

I'd like to dock Shanny 500K every time he burns a 2nd half timeout in the the 3rd quarter to save 5 yards.

One more thing - the next time we have a home opener with a Heisman winning rookie at QB that everyone came to see and we win the toss, I'd like the ball as opposed to deferring and putting Haz and the D in charge.

Peace out fellas.

As best I remember, you said that Gil Coan was better than Roy Sievers, and that Griffith had been snookered when he traded Coan for Roy. That's a serious violation!!

Outside of smack, it'd have to be his pet ass, but in that case is animal cruelty allowed outside of smack? :?:

I'd head kick ExtremeSkins and follow up with an umaplata breaking the arm before the ref realized they were out cold from the head kick.

Non reviewable btw.

I was 6... My dog had eaten my Maypo... and I was snacking on paint chips... That should mitigate something. You're so harsh.

There it is... I'm re-traumatized. I keep having flashbacks of a cold and foggy day at Griffith Stadium... it may be weeks before I sleep again.

Oh... wait... it was just a cooling problem at the Uline Arena... Never mind.

In many cases, it seems, a permanent ban at ES is a favor...

"Dear SkinsFTW,

You have received a warning at EXTREMESKINS.com.

Reason:
-------
Inappropriate Language

Apologize to the board for the over the top rape comment

Original Post: Romney is getting raped in Ohio though.

13. Please refrain from including overly explicit material in posts.

This includes, but is not limited to, overly violent, obscene, or sexual content in any media form--- including text, pictures, gifs, audio clips, or videos. Use discretion, and err on the side of caution in instances where material you are considering posting might be considered “over the line.” A significant quantity of our traffic visits occur during work hours, are made in public environments, and are made by individuals less than 18 years of age. This is a board open to all, including entire families of all ages of Redskins fans, and it is the official board of The Washington Redskins. Show pride and respect for that fact and give thought to what you post on ES. If you are in doubt about something you're about to post, simply don't post it."

FOR REAL!!! :-({|=

It seems that I just got the same treatment at that site too. What a joke considering what people were saying in the election threads. No warning but they expect me to say that I'm sorry for something that they didn't even edit and isn't even close to some of the crap I read on that board. It took almost 17000 posts over almost a decade but I was getting tired of the mods acting like 3 year olds there anyway. Maybe they were just looking for an excuse to ban me.

http://www.extremeskins.com/showthread. ... SULTS-HERE)/page18

It's a 2 week ban but i'll just stay away since they don't even have the common courtesy to say something in the actual thread by replying to my post and didn't even edit it. If it's really that bad then at least remove it but give me a break. Rape is a bad word now? LOLOLOL I never check my messages so the only way I knew was that I couldn't even view the site today then checked my messages.

Well I came across this site, because I've been booted from Extremskins for a month.

So through this site and this thread. I pretty much sent Jumbo a email telling him just to give me a permanent ban.

I've never been on a site that is so one sided. You're not allowed to say anything without getting a week off or more.

I don't even know what I did this time and they don't even have enough guts to tell you. Not to mention he sends an email without a return address, because he doesn't have a pair.

Don't get it, but I'm glad to try this site out.

I'm sure i won't agree with all of you and you won't agree with me, but damn I can't take extremeskins anymore.

Glad I got banned tonight. Allowed me to bump into this site.

So I look forward to bitching with you guys about this team.

Welcome aboard. We get a lot of people in your situation. Once you've been here a while, you'll wonder why you were ever any place else. We are definitely a lot more tolerant, but there are still rules. And check out the rest of the site too. You'll be amazed at how much THN has to offer.

It's not so much that we're tolerant... None of us can remember where the Ban button is... :^o

Seriously, though... We really like discourse... And, the rules are simple, and common sense.

I was a member on Extremeskins for 10 plus years. It was always a heavily moderated board run by people who take themselves too seriously. Jumbo is a huge idiot as well as the other mods and it has gotten so bad that there is a thread there why ES is dying. Read it. The delusions by the Moderators on ES are hilarious. ES is dying because it is run by morons who play favorites and push a certain dialogue that matches their opinions. There are no Organic football discussions driven by passionate fans in line with Football culture.

ES is a total joke now. They are made fun of by many of the NFL Board communities throughout all NFL boards and it is the moderators and their crazy culture that is always to blame.

Thank you for having these alternative boards that people with different opinions from Jumbo and his minions can discuss Redskins football. All Redskins fans who enjoy talking about their team with respect and diversity should leave ES and come to places like here.

I refuse to belong to any community patrolled by the feelings police. ES would be the case in point example. I like this site quite a bit in the limited time I've been posting here. It seems to be filled with people capable of handling themselves like adults. ES, not so much. Even the mods there need a tampon or a crying towel.

You will get banned for getting upset in the game day threads. It's the freaking GAME-DAY THREAD! Who's NOT going to get upset and have knee-jerk reactions in those threads? Jumbo is the worst. He will put you under a microscope, scrutinize every infinitesimally small thing you say, and suspend you at the drop of a dime. Moreover, when he reproaches posters in a particular thread for seemingly breaking whatever rule he deems at the edge of being broken, he writes a damn novel about it. Dude's got a LOT of time on his hands apparently. If you ask me, he needs to find a hobby and calm the hell down. ;)
