Yeeeeaaaap... we been trying to tell people to have patience but they have none.
I really admire Bruce and Mike's "5 year plan." There's been some bumps in the road for sure, but they've stayed the course and are building a young, fast, hungry football team.
We haven't had a front office like this since the days of Bethard and Casserly... it's nice!

Brandon Merriweather - Solid SS who can hit & Cover. Been to Pro Bowl Madeiu Williams - Solid FS - Solid is all Tanard Jackson - Potential Pro Bowl Caliber S who can play FS DeJon Gomes - Emerging Talent Cedric Griffin - Corner who can play FS Doughty - Solid emergency guy, like only play him if everyone but him as the flu.
OK, I keep hearing that Haslett's system needs a monster of a safety. Do we really have that...???
I know Merriweather was top knotch, could be again. But I know little about Williams and Jackson.
Are we really set here or is this a case of slinging a lot of mud at the wall and seeing what sticks...???
I think with the addition of Raheem Morris to the staff and the type of players they're picking up. Its going to look more like a Tampa 2 or cover2 behind a 3-4 front.
IMO the corners will be the weakness here. I'm ok with Wilson but, Hall plays the ball instead of the man too much for my taste. Giving Hall's knack for playing the ball, moving him to safety in this system might be a better fit.
The safety wont need to be a thumper in this system. double rover, no monster. But we MUST be able to play man on the corner. None of that 5 yard cushion nonsense.

5 is not so bad. It's the 10 and 15 yard cushions that kill me. Maybe we will draft a corner.
Better yet ... maybe we can play with THE LEAD!

I'm sure Raheem Morris helped to get this done....!!!
I am sure.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

They've had a plan ...
Fact is, until 2010, the Redskins franchise has NOT had a front office for over 10 years
we now have had one for 2 seasons and they are finally helping the franchise get over the lack of anything even resembling a plan for many years
anyone else notice how many offensive linemen are left from the 2009 group
there were some here that thought some of those guys could play ....
this FO is making a lot of fans here forget about how bad we were not so long ago
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
