We are going to love RGIII in B&G.
This sounds great.
Was he wearing pads?
Nope.

We can't negotiate with RG3 until we actually draft him, regardless of when Luck signs.
But with the new rookie wage scales, there's no need to. he knows pretty much exactly what he'll get if he's drafted no. 2.

Most here don't care about negotiations between the Redskins and RG3
ALL I want to hear is that the Colts have decided that they are taking Andrew Luck
after that we'll know we're getting RG3
when we sign him we should pay him a lot more than the Colts agreement with Andrew Luck ... because he's worth more

I love the fact that the news on Gregg (second G is for girl boobs) Williams and Sean Peyton came out today, so RG3's pro day wasn't hyped up. I can't find anything on it anywhere. I think the chance of the Colts taking him first would have gone up if the hype was allowed to build.
On a separate note, RG3 went to dinner last night with Shanny, Danny, Shanny 2, RG2 and wife and RG3's fiancée. Apparently RG3's fiancée was blown away by Shanny because she (and RG3) was a Bronco's fan growing up. Seems like both sides are pretty excited.

Yep. Negotiating is no longer really that big of a deal. RGIII will make our offseason workouts and show up for camp ready to compete.

Griffin’s father said Snyder was particularly inquisitive.
“The owner, he had a lot of concerns,” Griffin Jr. said. “Ya know, a young kid coming into the league. He asked us what kind of vehicle that Robert drives. I said, ‘Chrysler Pacifica — the whole time he was at Baylor.’ He said, ‘Good, because guys in our parking lot drive Bentleys.’
“I said, ‘Robert ain’t gonna be driving no Bentley. If he does, you call me.’”

And yet there are some that still think that Snyder no longer has a role in personnel moves.

Not sure which way you were going with this comment, but I don't really have a problem with him going to dinner with his Franchise quarterback to get a feel for him. And honestly, I thought the question was a good one.
That seems like a pretty good role for him to be in, question asker not talent evaluator.

It's a question the GM should be asking. I'd prefer that Snyder stay as far away as possible from the players. Going to pro days and meeting with players is what he pays Shananhan and Allen money for.

OK. I get it, we've all got a little PTSD when it comes to Snyder and football decisions. However, so long as his health isn't an issue and flying is something he's available to do, I guess I'm ok with him joining his GM and Coach on the trip, so long as he ain't the one making the decision.
I dunno, I think we can go too far in this "SNYDER STAY AWAY FROM THE FOOTBALL STUFF" meme. The man owns the team, he kinda needs to know what's going on. This kid might be the face of his team for a decade plus. I think I'd want to meet him before hand too.

He's not the only owner to attend Pro Days.... as long as he's kept on a short leash I don't see a problem with it.
But considering his past, I can see why you feel that way

1: There was no question there... it was table conversation.
2: Thousands of Redskins fans skipped a bit of work to watch him yesterday... if you could have afforded to go watch at Waco, you might have done that, too. He just authorized his FO to trade 4 high picks in multiple drafts to be positioned to take this kid. I will not begrudge him a presence at the table.
3: The KEY quote here is
If he does, you call me.
Easy to read something in here, but what does that say? Sounds a bit like RGJr already knows where RGIII is going.

Upon further review I'd say RGIII flat out missed on only one pass - a fly pattern overthrow. He also led a guy a little high and wide on a cross but the pass touched the WR's fingertips, he didn't jump, and then signaled "my bad" - the WR that is.
There were about 5 other times he made a guy reach back by not leading him enough.
On throwing only I'd give him an A-. On all other throws he led his man darn near perfectly - sometimes even forcing them to run hard by leading them in that way known as "throwing a guy open." He also was amazingly accurate on the move, both left and right and whether throwing off the correct foot, wrong foot, or while leaping. In that regard he was A++.
He has a very strong arm. He makes all throws easily. I'd call it a cannon. Frozen ropes guys.
His movement in general was A++. His bootleg action in particular was as good as I've ever seen. He's a bigger more accurate Vick in terms of skill set.
I will try to be objective with Luck as you all know I have a man-crush on RGIII.

You are not alone. Not by a long shot.
Luck is easy to be objective with, the guy is absolutely just as awesome as RGIII. Any difference in opinion on them, to me, is purely personal taste and after the fact rationalization. I'm HUGELY on board for Robert, but you'll not see me shed one tear if its Andrew.
