My bad
The Bills have hellofa TEAM though, look at their D... don't they?
Still will be Canada's first NFL team though
Back on topic...
It's early and the offense as the upper hand early in the season throughout the NFL, but not when it comes to the Skins D. Rex can be bad Rex and the team will still be in the came. They can let him shake it off go with Beck. Either way the D should be good enough to keep it close

Keep it up Rexy!

I with you Joe. I have had faith and still do in Rex.

I think he will. Some fool is bound to open his filthy pie hole to the contrary, but Rex was given plenty of opportunity to choke yesterday and didn't. He may not be a Tomy Rono, but that's a GOOD thing.
The Gnats clearly game planned to shut down Hightower and try to bring out "bad Rex" and he whupped their butts. Next week, the run game will kick into high gear, and Rexy will get ALL sexy. 400+ yds offence, and a strong defensive ushowing will give us a 2-0 start and presumably fumigate the site to get rid of the troll infestation.
Nicely done.... let's buy up all the cans of troll fumigation cans at Home Depot....
This calls for industrial strength, commercial quality fumigation. I think that's why they're putting up the new bubble at Redskins Park, its a fumigation tent!

cvillehog and i had a discussion about Rex recently in which he pointed out what most people don't really realize:
Grossman has started barely over 2 full seasons worth of games. he came into Chicago expected to be their franchise QB but got injured in each of his first 3 seasons and never played more than 3 games in any of them.
as far as actual game experience goes, the 2006 season in which he went to the superbowl with the Bears was essentially the 2nd half of his rookie year and the 1st part of his 2nd season as a starting QB.
and guess what? he made a lot of rookie/young QB mistakes, and continued to do so at the beginning of the next season, which was really just the 2nd half of his 2nd season as a starter. mistakes which would have absolutely been tolerated as the team and coaches exercised patience and tried to coach him to grow through it *if* he were only in his 2nd year in the league. but the franchise's and fans' patience with him had already run out after those 3 years lost to injury, so they moved on.
as crazy as it sounds, it isn't out of the realm of possibility for Rex to end up growing through those "young QB" mistakes and becoming a franchise-caliber QB. Drew Brees, for example, was so underwhelming after his first couple seasons worth of starting experience that his team ended up with the 1st pick in the draft and they used it to acquire Philip Rivers to replace him.
even if he's not the next Drew Brees, it's not at all unreasonable to think he might improve significantly over his Chicago days.

Exactly d_c_d. Add in that TV/media piled on him relentlessly - and, to me, unfairly - it was clear he just needed a change of scenery and a fresh start. I hope he has that now in DC and continues onward and upward in his career.

On an aside, one of my friends who used to live in Chicago said they had a Sexy Rexy song they played on the radio...any chance you remember this (or have a link to it)? It'd be epic...
