I think you're way over reading what people mean by saying we're glad Grossman had a good week

I referring more to McNabb in this instance. I don't think he dominates, but I think he does ok with the Vikings.

He's got to do better than he did Sunday

I wonder what the odds are that he rides the pine again at some point this year.

I think this list shows that there is no direct correlation to the performance of your quarterback to winning or losing. It certainly helps , but some of the QBs that had higher numbers their teams lost like Tony Romo and some with much lower numbers their teams won like Jason Campbell and Mark Sanchez.

You might not remember him, but you probably have seen him before. Remember back in 2005 when we started the 5 game winning streak to get into the play-offs? Fitzpatrick was getting his first start for the Rams, against the Skins, after a big debut the week before led to the defeat of the Texans.

Ryan went to college at Havard. Just a useless fact that might be of interest.

With McNabb, the fire is gone. With Rex he's been dying to get back on that field as a starter since 2007. He can lead a team, McNabb just doesn't want to do the work anymore. It's too bad, because McNabb could have taken the reins of the Redskins and been a star player for a few years but instead he came in thinking he already knew everything and that we needed him more than he needed us.

I would have never thought McNabb was going to have attitude problems, let alone conditioning problems.

That's not a bad thing. It was the system that made Joe Theisman, Doug Williams and Mark Rypien superbowl champions. The key is matching the talent to fit it. Looks good, so far.

=) the "system" being the guys up front opening holes and keeping the QB upright then yeah, =) it def. was the system.

yeah but did the QBR factor in the fact that Grossman's 2nd INT was bogus, and caused by a flagrant-yet-uncalled pass interference? i bet not. which makes me question the point of such a fancy, intensive system if they're not even going to take it to the level of basing it on what the QB actually did right or wrong in real life, as compared to the fantasy world inside the refs' heads.
