Also, I think it's just total BS that people get to profit (NCAA, Skools, etc) off of these players and then after all the money has been made, now they want to be moral. EVERYONE knew what was going on but they turn a blind eye to it. The whole thing is corrupt and needs reform.
In addition, the new proposal for academic achievement for players is great in theory but it ASSUMES that people are coming in on a level playing field. If the NCAA really give a flying f* about the players and/or academics they'd get more involved at the HS and Middle Skool level and aim to improve education before the kids even get to college.
