That's fine. I'll stand by my comments. This if the FIRST TIME I've been very proud of the Redskins franchise since the Super Bowl in 1992. We also get a chance to take it to Fat Al on the field later this season. We also helped to degrade the quality of talent on a team I HATE with a passion. Not sure what else could have been better. I'm in a GREAT mood today.
So you're not Pods, you're Michelle Obama? Why were you proud of the Redskins in 1992? They had the Bills down and instead of snapping them like twigs they let them almost back in the game. We didn't dominate them in every way, we were weak and pathetic. Why would you have been proud of that?
When did you become a Redskin fan anyway?

I've been telling you I'm not this "Pods" character for quite a while. I knew someone would make the Michello Obimbo reference. I have never seen the need to be proud of an individual or organization that isn't getting things done and doing them the right way.

1981-82, at age 7.

I thought I remembered a totally different game. In my mind and maybe I can't remember anything but, I thought that was our best SB win.

It was a joke. Redskin Fanatic (nee GS-PODS) says that no one has won a convincing Super Bowl because it wasn't a big enough blow out. He also says he doesn't compete because he can't live up to his own standard. We wouldn't understand. So when he said he was proud of us in 92 I was making fun of him. It was a great victory. But Pods hates the Redskins so he's talking drivel anyway. He's a one trick pony.

NOTHING will be better than the 42-10 beating we put on Denver IMO. Remember how that game started my friend, with Elway in the shotgun launching a long pass to .. shoot I can't remember who but it was a looooong pass down the field for a TD. Then they kicked a field goal.
That's when our guys woke up and we went on a 42-0 run.
I'll never forget that night, I stepped outside (was young, couldn't leave my front steps around midnight) and all I saw were people running around screaming and yelling.. oh, and of course gunshots going off all around Langleypark.

*sigh*.. good memories.

Both those were great games. But I bet you can guess which was my favorite, Langley...

1992 was definitely my favorite. That was a magical season. We SHOULD have been undefeated that year.
I almost didn't get to watch the Super Bowl in 1987. That game didn't start out well for us and my parents told me if I didn't calm down I wouldn't be allowed to watch the rest of it. Thankfully they finally showed up in the second quarter.

Hmmmmm...
I do remember watching that one, was very young obviously but I distinctly remember my mom pacing back and forth right before that play and when Riggo broke through she started jumping up and down screaming like crazy. The very next day my mom went and bought me the poofy ball wool hat.

Yep, fourth and four inches on the Miami forty four. What do you do? Hand off to...forty four. He just...might...go...all...the...way...

That was my favorite too. Maybe because it was the 1st, matbe because of the drama of Riggo's run.

92 was this first one I didn't see an * next to the win. Of course the Doug Williams bowl was the most exciting. What I saw was Joe Gibbs saying "oh so you want to play that way do you"

All the above. It was my personal favorite play in NFL history, which is why I picked it for my avatar. BTW, we were on the 42, but I'm still telling the story we were on the 44. I also made up the 4 inches completely.

@ Kazo making it 44 yard line for added affect!!
Luv it bro!!!
I wonder what the heck the Dolphins DL were thinking during the huddle. Like, "hey you have to grab him." "what? not me dude, I'm a safety".. "dude, he's gonna get by us no matter what, I hope your ready".." this is ridiculous, there's nothing safe about my position"
