I go early enough to tailgate so the pre-game traffic isn't that bad and I usually hang out and eat some leftovers before I head home. If you leave when everyone's trying to leave, it can get a little hectic.

In other words, the fact that Skins fans continue to support the team and pour lots of money into it makes their Return on Investment one of the lowest in pro sports.
Teams that have sucked consistently usually don't have loyal fans, and usually aren't Top 3 in Revenue.
I still think the Raiders should be down there "ahead" of the Bengals though. ANd, I do think this list was stupid.
The "Stadium Experience" I'm sure really killed the Skins in the rankings too. Awful traffic to get to FedEx, bad public transportation, poor concessions yet high prices, no character to the stadium, etc.
I don't get your comments about the traffic or public transportation. I have never had any trouble getting to or from fedex when I drive. It rarely takes me more than one hour to get home once I get to my car. Usually, it is 45' and the trip on a normal day takes just as long, if not longer! Don't use the beltway.
The metro comes within a mile of the stadium so public transportation is OK, not great like some stadiums where the metro takes you right to the stadium. Maybe, if DC had worked with JKC on finding a site for the stadium instead of fighting him the metro stop would have been closer.
Where are you coming from? Try coming up from Virginia. No way you get there in under an hour unless you show up 3 hours early. The layout of the parking lot doesn't help any either. And forget trying to go to a Monday night game.

From VA:
395 to 295 to Penn. Ave. to Balt. Wash. Pkwy. N to 50 E. Take 1st exit (easy to miss if stoned

).
40 mins. Park in spot with rapid exit. Tailgate. Watch us lose. Drive home in 1 hour and wonder why you go back

.
At least with craigslist you can see us beat the Cowboys on opening day for $50. I guess that's why I go back

.

Ever since we moved to FedEx, we suck. Part of it happened before "the curse" of Dan Snyder but mostly since he became that curse.
The experience at RFK was vastly superior than the current one. I cannot blame Danny in full for that but things have not improved much since he got here.
I disagree with the ranking. My argument is not that the Skins are one of the WORST franchises in sports. My argument is that the team as a whole has lived in MEDIOCRITY with the exception of a couple of years with Joe Gibbs II over the last decade and a half.
Our fans are SUPER loyal. That is a blessing but the owner takes advantage of our blind loyalty to put a lousy product as a whole on the market. Not a good buy if you look at it from a business perspective. That is why I stopped going to FedEx.
