The fact is, NOBODY gets out of a roller-coaster in the middle of a fast and furious ride or else ...
We have no option now. Either you were in it at the beginning and hold on or not got in to start with.
too true - the progress report card for the first year is not good but it is progress AND it's the only chance we have to rid ourselves of the wasted years of terrible managing here
I'm also pretty sure that a more reasonable & player friendly approach would NOT have accomplished much given the incredible losing culture that had been established
I'm sick of the losing and hopeful that we've started to right the ship - we shall see very quickly as we approach what looks like a fairly good quality free agents' market and a draft with more than a few picks through 6 rounds
hopefully somebody here has some idea of whom we should keep and who can help make us better without giving up too much
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
My biggest hope is that Bruce and Mike have a plan for the QB position - we need a good QB, NOW
we have many needs but we must locate the QB that will be able to be a very good QB for years
WE MUST FIND A GOOD QB

What happened to all the support for Patrick Ramsey? Wasn't "Brunell over Ramsey" supposed to be the first mistake Joe Gibbs made in 2004?
Apparently, McNabb was Shanahan's Brunell: an experienced QB who had starred in the NFL, and someone to fill the QB position while the rest pf the team was re-built.
OK, these Redskins have a distance to go, but Shanahan is not Zorn or Spurrier. This team is going to improve.
At least Mark Brunell was excellent in 2005, and pretty decent on a bad team in 2006. McNabb sucked this season.
Still, either way it was a terrible idea to bank on a 33+ year old QB to start a rebuilding process.

You know what - he made some mistakes but we're still better positioned going forward than we were
It's now 2011 and most of us are looking forward - if you want to bring up all the good things and bad things that have happened - go for it
this thread is about the ShanaPlan and I think it only means we get better every step we make, from here on
