I think that with McNabb's benching it's pretty clear that we are going to draft a qb in the first round. The top of the draft is pretty stacked this year with Luck, Mallett, and Locker.

Asked another source close to the situation if they expected McNabb to still be with the #Redskins next year, a simple "Hell No" was answer.

Fletcher Smith (McNabb's agent), over the phone: "He's not happy. He feels he should be out there."

That wasn't tasty it was stale... everyone with any insight has known for a month that it wasn't a $40 million contract. Bad info in the 1st sentence does not make a tasty morsel, it makes you move on to something elseRedskins players are not happy. "The guys are extremely pissed," one player told NFL.com's Jason La Canfora. He reports that Redskins players think offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan is using McNabb as a scapegoat for his own failures
ok, now I am putting it in better light I hope. This is what I was talking about.

You are big on stats and yes MacNab can make the plays but he was hated for a reason and now we all can see why. I understand that he doesn't have the blocking but he did as an Eagle more so than a Redskin. AM I right thinking this?

Was the player that told him this one of the pissed players or one of the players that thinks DMc is a scapegoat? Why not name names, if he actually talked to someone? We saw through all of his "a person with knowledge of the situation" BS so now he is going with player and players.

You are probably right. Maybe not though. What really goes on in the locker room that isn't reported accurately? I understand that Jason has alot of this guy says this and that and it is anonymous. What would you think though if you were on that team? What would you say to the media and what would you really be thinking? I am saying I believe this. This is natural.

For the most part players had no comment when the news broke, and JLC is mostly wrong when he doesn't name a source

And I don't blame them for having no comment. I wouldn't either if I wanted my job.

They have to know that Cherry is the best flavor, banana has no place with candy.

Which is precisely why almost no one on THN considered him a reliable source when he was with the Post. A cat can't change his spots. I believed that JLC was a knee jerk opportunist in Washington... and (apparently), is now a knee jerk opportunist at NFLN. The guy has a history of preferring splash over credibility... if he wanted to change that, he'd find a way to validate the rumors that he mongers as fact.
Could he be right? sure. Do I believe a word that comes out of his mouth at face value???? NOT A CHANCE. I believe nothing that comes from him that is not sourced.
Keep in mind, I'm not at all happy with Shanahan's incomprehensible behavior... but that doesn't mean that I'm going to use anything from a source that I don't consider trustworthy as validation for my feelings.

They have a cherry too. Most candy cherry flavors are too medicinal, though.
