I've got to stop picking Houston; They kill me every week.*
Even when I pick against them.

I have a feeling that it is them -AND- the rest of the NFL that are conspiring against us this year.

I actually had a pretty good week. Other than Houston and the Vikings, the only games I missed were big upsets (Colts, Bengals, and Chargers) which everyone else* missed too. I should have taken into account Brett's recent distractions in the Monday nighter, but I really hate changing my picks once they're made; it always seems to backfire.
* Except C'ville, who got 2 out of 3 there.

Ditto. I'm wrong on the Broncos every week too, though this week's the exception that proved the rule...

I think that a lot of teams this year have so far not played as well as they are capable and the reverse is also true in that a number of teams have won games that they really should not have
"upsets" seem to be the norm this year - There a large number of teams with 1 or 2 wins that are far better in my opinion than a number of teams with 3 and 4 wins so far
this makes for some fun hognosticating
I don't think much of the Rams at all - there are still a year away PLUS I love when former & current giants coaches lose - bunch of wankers if you ask me

Agreed, although, this week was extremely disappointing for me, I thought I had a knack for picking those upsets this season. Oh well.

We also have to remember, they've only won a combined 5 or so games in the past three years, most of which were home games. They've been terrible on the road.

Not the Colts, the Saints. And C'ville missed that one too, so he only got the Bucs over the Bengals.

my week!
St. Louis @ Detroit: Lions
NY Giants @ Houston: Giants
Denver @ Baltimore: Ravens
Kansas City @ Indianapolis: Colts
Jacksonville @ Buffalo: Jaguars
Green Bay @ Washington: Redskins
Chicago @ Carolina: Bears
Minnesota @ NY Jets: Jets
OK these next 2 games were a stretch
Atlanta @ Cleveland: Browns
Philadelphia@ San Francisco: 49ers - I think that Mike S has no chance at keeping his job now - no matter what happens
but these:
Tampa Bay @ Cincinnati: Bengals - how can anyone pick the Bucaneers over the Bengals UNLESS they're on drugs
New Orleans @ Arizona: Saints - are you kidding me? the Cardinals cannot win this!
San Diego @ Oakland: Chargers - NO WAY - Oakland is one of the worst teams in the NFL this year
Tennessee @ Dallas: Cowboys - the pukes are really disapointing this year
8-6 and really feeling like I was robbed of a 12-2 week

I know they're disappointing you.
BTW, I picked the Titans in that game, and also got the Lions pick right. It was just the stupid Texans and Brett - I always throw the late pick - Favre that kept me down this week.

TtiT is just one team in the NFL that so far has not been playing anywhere near the type of football that they are capable of - not disapointing to me at all because the Redskins record is better than it really should be - AND we could be 5-0 - I'm enjoying what I'm seeing
how great would it be to go into the bye week at 5-3

I didn't see a smiley face so ....
I'm thinking that anyone that's a part of "We all" doesn't know me very well - AND in your case, that's a given!
btw, you have no clue, if you think I'm a closet anything

For me the biggest upset had to be Oakland over SD.
My picks of SF and Minny were emotional picks, and for 4 weeks, my formula was to leave emotion out (outside of the Skins pick). In week 5, I got emotionally involved, and I got the worst result this year.
Doh!
