I don't like T.O. but think he's too old to be a cancer we can't deal with. I say grab him. This is a vote of no confidence for Thomas, Kelly, and Moss. If we were trying to build for the future, I would say no TO, but it's obvious now we aren't.
What does age have to do with his being disruptive in the clubhouse? Many people get grouchier with age. Just ask our resident curmudgeon
I don't agree ch1 - I think these guys are not only keeping the future very much in mind, I think they are also looking to the immediate future (NOW) as well - this franchise was in total disarray and now we are looking at a lot of positives going into TC
I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much but I'm just so glad that this franchise is now in the hands of NFL types and not a marketing guru and his 'yes men' - I know that you have serious doubts about both the FO and the coaching staff but I think we're way ahead of where we thought we would be by this stage
at this time, we do NOT need T.O. - IMO we are not desparate at this position yet and, if training camp indicates we do need help then I think they will try and get someone for a little longer term than what T.O. offers
No, there is a definite window, 3 years max. We are old as crap. That is why T.O. would make some sense. Also, our receivers aren't great.
As I said - I don't think there's an urgency to do this NOW - let's get the players together and see how things go - we might bring in TO but that's not really a big help in my opinion and I fail to see how adding TO helps the franchise get younger
I hope that some other team takes him on and this nonsense can stop - if this were Cerrato and Snyder, TO would already be here - now that we have NFL guys in charge, they are not going to do anything stupid and IMO are going to explore EVERY other option before they consider looking at TO
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

personally, i believe in improving the team, and our receivers are crap. The Rams are closing in on him, so there isn't much time to debate the issue. However, I doubt it really matters, the team has made it pretty clear they won't go that direction.
Carson Palmer has been working out with him, and is lobbying Rehab Central... errr... the Bengals brain trust... HARD to bring him in.
That's my bet...
And... the sooner, the better.

Gotta love the off-season, more drama than high-school.
My high school got rid of drama when the lead actress in wizard of oz fell off the stage, hit her head, forgot who she was, and came back on stage and started to pole dance around the tin man's leg. What a body she had.

I bet there was an audible "ding" heard around the theatre.
