A lot of people don't believe you can trade the #4 pick...I don't agree.
Last year the Browns traded the 4th pick to the Jets, who wanted a QB.
Could one of the following teams want Bradford bad enough to move up?
Panthers
Jags
Dolphins
Bills
Broncos
Raiders
49'ers
Seattle
I could see a couple of these teams saying, we have a pretty good oline, why wait for our pick to get a QB, let's go get 'um!
We need Oline and more picks this year.

Just wondering...
If we did pick Bradford will the Redskins get futher pressure to change their name? Bradford is an official citizen of the Cherokee Nation. He's the first Cherokee since Sonny Sixkiller to start at QB for a Div I team!
Interesting story line...

This name "stuff" is over - Bradford may be on this team but nothing is going to affect the Redskins team name
I would love for the 49ers to give one of their 2 picks and whatever else Shanahan and Allen can get - thankfully Cerrato & Snyder don't run this franchise anymore

It is a good list of team that need QBs but I think you can scratch the Panthers and Phins off that list. They have their QBs of the future on their squads.

Bradford , Clausen , Okung , Berry , Suh , Spiller
I could rock with any of them...fast forward me to the draft I can't take it anymore!
Don't disregard Tebow either.

Is that right? Man would that bring some unwanted media attention.

Mike Shanahan and the Redskins can get a quarterback here who might have been the top player taken had he opted to come out last year. The Redskins need to find their franchise quarterback, and when healthy, Bradford is an exceptionally accurate passer with an underrated arm. Shanahan also hit on his last QB selection when he drafted Jay Cutler in Denver.

Where is Tebow on this this mock?

Kinda ironic how we don't have to be an "insider" to see our guys since we draft so early.. not sure how I actually feel about this.. "hey joe, you guys suck so here's what mel thinks.".. "hey steelers fan, you have to become an insider for yours buddy"

That mock just covers the first round. Shockingly, Tebow isn't listed!

Some more info from Mel Kiper...
Washington Redskins
Top needs: QB, OT, RB, G, DE
First round (4): Sam Bradford
Second-round options (37): OT Charles Brown, OT Selvish Capers, RB Jahvid Best
Third-round options: No third-round picks (used in the supplemental draft)
Summary: For a roster that really needs an infusion of talent and depth, you could question the quarterback pick so early, but Bradford represents a chance to get a franchise quarterback, and again, you're getting the player many had pegged as the No. 1 option for the Lions last year had he jumped. You expect Mike Shanahan to retool the offensive line, and both Brown and Capers are the athletic types Shanahan prefers.

From the Senior Bowl...
• South team -- Tebow is continuing to struggle under center. His timing and rhythm are off, even for a quarterback working with new receivers. He also seems to be having problems reading the defense, which combined with his elongated release makes him late on some throws. However, he is not hanging his head and is remaining positive and embracing the leadership role.
