YES, Gardner does not sit too well with me at times. I don't like his demeanor, and I hate when he makes the first down sign after a five yard catch. Once he even made the sign and it WASN'T a first down. Just catch the ball, go back to the huddle, repeat. Simple.

He's big and has a good reach, but I'm still not really sure just how good he really is. He's definitely not that fast as receivers go, but that's been negated to a point now that Coles is in there.

Now please don't fly off the handle. =;
This comparison is only to illustrate the types (size/speed) of players we have at WR. I am in no way indicating that our current group is as good as The Posse but let me know what you guys think.

:feedback;

L. Coles vs. G. Clark
R. Gardner vs. A. Monk
T. Jacobs vs. R. Sanders

I would love to have DMac back, but keep in mind there is a distinct possibility that DMac could be playing in Baltimore.

L. Coles vs. Gary Clark - I think that's a good comparison SO FAR.

R. Gardner vs. Art Monk - not even in the same universe, as far as I'm concerned. Monk was much better, much classier. Maybe some physical similarities, but that's where it ends

T. Jacobs vs. R. Sanders - I have no idea, as I have no feel at all for T. Jacobs yet. We'll see.

I truly believe we will keep MCCants. McCants is one of the first players Gibbs met when he came in power

Yes I meant physical comparison only. See my correction.

I'm just looking at this with the assumption we are not able to keep DMac.

if we have pay him 2 million next year than i don't think he's worth it, part of his appeal is the fact that he isn't a high priced guy. 3rd WR are replacable, but i do like mccants

The Ravens also could dip into the unrestricted free-agent market, which includes Dez White, Curtis Conway, Bill Schroeder, James McKnight, and Oronde Gadsen. Another possibility is Darnerien McCants, a big, sure-handed restricted free agent from the Washington Redskins. But Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome is on record as saying the team has no interest in him.

No we won't. We cut Larry Moore and will cut Trung for more money to bring Bryan Johnson and D-Mac back.

I like McCants, but you also have to look at the fact that he benefitted a little bit being the third wide receiver. Opposing Ds had to worry about Coles and Gardner too. Its not like McCants was drawing the team's best cover corner or anything.
