He is NOW a slacker and I don't want slackers on MY team (if I were HC or GM) Not to mention his BIG MOUFFF

It's not like he's the only one though so it's not fair to single him out. Haynesworth has been out of shape all season, Landry clearly doesn't spend enough time practicing/watching film., etc. It seems like CP is getting scapegoated for a lot of this team's problems, which isn't really fair imho. Zorn created this problem with his lax training camps and his "stay medium" approach. Snyder and his idiot sidekick did nothing to help the situation and probably made it worse.

Right or not, how hard players play/practice is often dictated by the culture of an organization. In Oakland Randy Moss was a "slacker" and "washed up." In New England he's one of the best in the game. Same thing with Corey Dillon. Fix the culture of the franchise and you wont have these types of problems.

I have never been a big CP fan. I am shocked that so many people think that he is a great RB. The guy has never won anything to speak of. Some say he carried the offense, but our offense has never been very impressive since he joined the team. He may have had some good games when we needed someone to step up and contribute, but that is not saying much. Was he a leader? Did he elevate the play of the people around him? No. A good blocker? Sure. But at the end of the day what is his legacy? What will you remember CP for? For me, I will remember his costumes, his sense of humor, his popularity, his laid back attitude, his complaints that preseason is too long, and his blocking. But championships, winning games, killer instinct? Forget it.

I am grateful to CP that he gave us fans hope during the bad years, but ultimately those hopes were never realized. Sadly, it never came together. Now it is time for a fresh start, a new beginning, and an older RB with a laid back attitude doesn't fit into that picture IMO.

Randy Moss has been a slacker everywhere he's played, including New England. Did you watch the game last weekend? I get your point, but some guys have their own internal motivational clock.

I didn't know that, but that doesn't change my opinion of Randy. He has always taken plays off, and plays only when he wants to.

That may be, but it doesn't change the fact that his attitude/performance has been much better in Oakland. It's hard to dispute the notion that a franchise's culture has a huge impact on the way that many players practice and play.
