Man I cant wait for the new coach already so we can see less of Snyder(I hope).

Did u read his statement??

I certainly accept responsibility for mistakes that I have made.

Ok I take it back. I was going off of past reputation and the main headline on Redskins.com. Flew off the handle for a second there.

I think he needs to understand that it's going to take time and him making the right decisions - the main one to get out of football operations and focus on getting your radio station back to being good again - which I don't listen too anymore really.

I agree with Frank (wow hard to say). Except 106.7 has a good morning show. I like the Junkies, Mik Wise is tolerable (better than TONY K - not hard), but LA and Dukes show is just plane unfiltered Skins hate radio! It is so painfully obvious that LA has an ax to grind with DS and makes it abundantly clear!

Why...you have a GM, let him do this!!

I'm also a bit nervous about Snyder - he's shown that he's truly a bad person and that he cannot be trusted - he's a liar - I understand that he's the owner and has to be involved to some extent here but ..... the ONLY way for this franchise to have a chance at improving is for him to let Bruce Allen and (apparently) Mike Shanahan manage things here

a lot of things that have happened here lately have the appearance of his modus operandi - Snyder needs to step away

anyone that thinks that we have a chance at re-building this franchise with Snyder's continued involvement is showing that they have not learned from the past decade of incompetence and lies from this scum and are basically "Suckers for Snyder"

That's being accountable? Making a broad sweeping statement and not going into any details about what he is talking about? Or that Larry Michael was the one who made it on Sportstalk 980.

For all I know, Snyder's talking about the breakfast that he chose this morning.

How about the fact that it's an ISSUED statement and at no point WHATSOEVER has he stood and answered for his behavior.

How about...

I made a mistake choosing Zorn.
I made a mistake NOT firing Zorn when I took away his coaching duties.
I made a mistake choosing Vinny.
I made a mistake banning signs.
I made a mistake suing season ticket holders.
I made a mistake trying to be a GM.
I made a mistake pissing on the fans at every opportunity.
I made a mockery of a once-proud franchise.
I made 100's of millions of dollars doing it.

Personally, I thought the statement was ridiculous... weak... vague... open-ended...

... and very typical of the Snyder regime.

I AM willing to forgive and forget if he's going to get the hell out of the way, but IMO it's waaaaaaay too early to tell.

My 2 cents

I hope that Shanahan's agent is making sure that his client has the authority to manage things here with Allen - he may or may not be the best choice but hopefully he and Allen can manage this team with Snyder's support and without his involvement - this is possible but it will be hard for Snyder to not be "in touch"

I'm sure that Snyder wants to have things turn around here - I just don't think he's earned the benefit of the doubt - too many things recently have looked like they have his fingerprints all over and this after he said he brought in Allen and gave him the authority he needs to make this franchise a success again

there are going to be a lot of fans watching and noting how things are managed here in the next few months - as hard as it is for Snyder's ego to not interfere he just has to let it go :)
