let's not get too crazy over Ganther. I've seen plenty of no name running backs come in and have success late in the season, and it has nothing to do with them being talented, it has more to do with them being fresh.
Campbell looks good enough. He won't ever be Sonny, but then no QB in the last 35 years has thrown as well as Sonny.
Of all the positions that need to be strengthened, QB is near last. It would be nice to have a backup, and it is amazing how much pounding Campbell has taken, but he is better than average.
No, the Redskins do not need to draft the QB from Notre Dame.
how about this... draft spiller from clemson! its almost as good as getting a o-lineman. he is the next chris johnson. if defenses bring that much pressure, and he gets past it... GONE. see ya. 80 yard td. his speed and homerun ability will force defenses to call off the pressure. i love the idea of lining up.... moss, thomas, kelly at WR... davis and cooley at TE... and spiller in the backfield. that could be a fun offense to watch. any thoughts?
Actually - it's a "best team" league. Sure the teams that do well have effective QB's but I would say that the best teams have really good O lines. There are a lot of really good QB's that have bad O lines and they are having similar results - Just ask Pittsburgh, Chicago, etc.

I was thinking the same thing last week. Spiller would be nice if we can draft the best C available in the 2nd and somehow sign an upgrade to play RT.

Ask what their record is with a beaten up, backup filled o line. They are currently 6-7 and were expected to compete for the SB. But their QB gets sacked too much and they don't have a running game - 2 stats 100% associated with the O line.

Frank, I don't know what game you're looking at, but they had virtually the same line last year and won the SB.

Correct. Campbell is good enough. He has demonstrated that he can manage the game plan, and can move the team.
I will not, however, expect him to ever have the ability to pull a rabbit from his hat when we need 6 off a 2 minute drill.
No... Sonny, he is not.

Well it will be interesting how it plays out...You can just tell Jason loves the position he's in. If there is a new CBA he will be a UFA and I don't see him showing the Skins any love on the other hand if there is no CBA the Skins have some leverage...
