Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

Both were great in different ways - and should be included. I just think Clark was better because he could just demoralize defenses, and I never really forgave Monk after he did so poorly in the 1984 Super Bowl.
Wrong thinking is punishable.
Right thinking will be as quickly rewarded.
You will find it an effective combination.

Hardly fair... Monk was far from alone in turning in a less than stellar performance... begining with JJG's very "un-Joe like" predictable play calling. Oakland and Washington had played a very competitive and tight game earlier in the season... and, unfortunately, the game film provided all the insight the Raiders needed into Joe's Superbowl Game plan.

Well, my view is that the discussion touched on Sammy Baugh, and anything related to Sammy in in-season!!!!!![]()
Otherwise, painfully true, but there's a game today and if kids like CT and I could get excited for the possibility that Norm Snead might drill a pass to Fred Dugan, making a circus catch, maybe hanging upside down, then it's worth a cheer and a round of Hail to the Redskins.
Fred Dugan?????? Wow, you really dug deep into the archives to pull that name out. So while we're at it, with nothing else to do, Let's sing!
Hail to the Redskins...........
The "archive" is purely in his head. Welch is a one man Redskins repository... plus, he was a fan when Snead and Dugan were wearing B&G.
Sadly enough I remember those days well and saw Snead and Dugan in person along with a few other non-notables back in Griffith Stadium and the early days of DC Stadium (later to be re-named RFK). I even saw Bobby Mitchell in the same backfield with Jim Brown run up over 200 yards against the Skins in Griffith Stadium before Bo-Mitch was a Skin.
Thank goodness better days were ahead, but unfortunately the curve is now swinging back the other way.
