I want to see all the jokes, speculation about JZ's job, who Snyder has secretly met with, and how he was subsequently rebuffed. The crappy thing is, as always this off season snyder will find SOME way to generate interest again next year. New Coach, New High round draft pick QB (who will subsequently flame out), or some 80th season retro uniforms. Its all quite comical to be honest...

As Sally Jenkins, who is a rare two-for-two in recent columns, pointed out yesterday, this organization is a victim of "toxic management":

Many were warned with ample time during the offseason, preseason and regular season. Many fans just did not want to listen because it is a lot more fun to drink the Kool Aid, take the snake oil and wave the pom poms. Please do not misunderstand me, it is not at you personally. You were trying to remain optimistic but the writing was on the wall.

I mean, how many times did we stress the need to help the OL in this board and other boards and the media?

We asked for help durning FA, the draft, we asked for starters and depth. I know that there will be a zillion threads with a zillion posts each blaming Zorn and JC but ...

Will there be -ONE- analyzing what went on with the OL and where we are now? We would have to have a QB like Drew Brees to scramble and with great vision and a super-fast release to even make it a go with this OL.

We knew we could have injuries in the OL, which was not young or great to begin with. One side was untrusted to run, now BOTH sides will be untrusted if Chris Samuels does not return soon.

But we knew this. The fans and the media brought this weakness to the attention of everybody that would listen ... and NOTHING meaningful was done.

I can't believe it took until the third page to see a post that really talked about the OL. Several saying Campbell failed to make plays, which is complete BS. This loss is entirely because of the failure to address the O.L. The only hope now is that Snyder finally realizes Cerrato is not the answer.

This is what I have been saying ever since I heard Orakpo would be playing LB. You know why he was drafted so high? Because was a monster at Texas when he played DE, not LB. This guy is as naturally talented at DE as anyone in this league and we are wasting him at LB. It was funny because right before Billick said that I almost said the same exact thing. Terrible coaching. How could Blache be so blind to no see that he is wasting so much playmaking ability by putting this guy at LB, not in his natural position?

Now just a reaction to the game.
-Our O-Line is terrible especially w/o Samuels. I don't even know how Batiste is on a pro roster.
- Its funny how Sellers has developed a habit of missing blocks since he got paid. A few people here predicted that one perfectly.
- No one should blame JC for this loss. He was under pressure all day
- Our terrible OL play is why Cooley didn't get a catch, staying into block the whole game, but a good coach would have found a way to get him involved.

I hate Snyder. I wish he would sell this team. Unfortunately that will probably never happen.

and everyone that is in love with JC, again, he may not have lost this game, but WHAT DID HE DO TO WIN THIS GAME??? Of the 4 sacks, at least 2 could be said to be JC's fault because he holds onto the ball for TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO long...

Play of the game, when Thomas misses a rare beautiful pass from JC, and then looks for a flag... is he for real, there was NO chance of PI on that play, he is terrible as well...

oh, and if I were Cooley, I would be pissed, not even ONE pass in his direction, that is completely unacceptable...

Complete agree on Orakpo. No business on the field covering TE's. Teams take advantage for TD's every week.

But please, you can't say Campbell failed to do his job today. This loss is on the O Line. You can't tell for sure the cause of those sacks without game tape. Even if two sacks are on Campbell, that's not what lost us the game. Campbell completed 74% of his passes and no TO's, and one TD. There was a third down conversion that got wiped away because the O.L. lined up incorrectly, then Campbell completed again on third but they didn't get it on fourth because of the OLine. There was the perfectly thrown deep ball that hit thomas in the hands and he dropped it as he was being tackled. The problems with the Oline prevented the offense from operating. Cooley had to help on every play, so no catches. What more was Campbell supposed to do, block the free running D-linemen that weren't being blocked by anyone?

Oh no, not at all.

The Snyder-loving media  will make sure that this is only the beginning this week. I am EAGER to read the well-deserved ridicule and scorn against the Front Office in the Washington Post and hear JLC this week in the NFL Network.

The Circus just made it to town! Enjoy folks.

Waiting for someone to blame this on Campbell...

No. It wasn't JC's fault, but I don't recall him making any plays either. Though, that was a nice pass to Thomas.

This game definitely falls on the head of Westbrook. Just because it seems like a stupid rule, doesn't mean that we shouldn't be prepared for it.

There's a reason why it took this guy so long to get off the practice squad. He sucks and will never make up for this bonehead move.

He sucks because he got grabbed and shoved into our punt returner?? How does that make sense???

Firing Zorn won't improve anything. You could bring in Bill Walsh, Bill Belicheck, and Joe Gibbs and they would still lose. The coach doesn't block the other teams D Line.

I think the Skins have to lose to the Cheifs have to win next week for Zorn to lose his job. He won't be fired before we have a bye, and if we beat the Chiefs, it's hard to imagine Zorn losing his job at 3-3 going into a bye after a win.
