I'm gald you pointed out it has been 17 years, beause the last seven under John Cooke were worse than the last ten under Snyder and Cooke had 20+ years of experience around the NFL.

The Danny isn't as bad as everyone makes him out to be and isn't a bottom five owner or even a bottom half owner. He has been labled with a bunch of assumptions that NO ONE knows if ANY are true.

He needs to do one thing, hire a good GM, but it isn't like they grow on trees. Finding one that is available will not be easy.

changing the culture of a team is never easy - no worries, it ain't happening


I am not upset that we are not as good as the other teams in the NFC East - that is the expectations of the "apologists" - the only thing I am upset about is the fact that the players and coaches are not playing and coaching to the level they're capable of - I never expected anything great - I just want and expect more than we have seen the last 2 weeks from the players and coaches

We should be 2-1 and maybe even 1-2 - the Lions are a lot better this year - it's not the wins or losses, it's what is happening on the field that is bothering me - I could care less about the past 10 years or the past 17 years - this is only about this team, this year - we are not suddenly losing this owner and changing things here these players just need to play as well as they can for this year and then next year Snyder will win the 'Offseason NFL Title' again, and, while some here will say "we can win the NFC East" like they do every year!!! - it ain't happening

The only thing is, I can and do expect the players and coaches to put out more effort than we saw the last 2 games - THAT'S IT

we are not going to be anything more than a mediocre team with these guys running it - WAKE UP

I'll tell you what. If and/or when Danny figures out HOW to win in the NFL (whenever that day is, I have no idea), we will win non-stop. Mark my words. He will have the last laugh here. That's why I don't mind the guy as an owner. The reason I hate him is that he is not looking at other franchises and realizing why they are successful.

i doubt dishing out forarm shivers to every 3rd person will do much besides leave you with a sore forearm. i suggest that you switch arms every 5th shiver.

wearing paper bags on your head will do nothing to your ownership. my guess he is about 10 moves ahead of most fans and believe me i'm sure he realizes that his team is not a playoff team this year. paperbags offend the players more than the ownership.

i would suggest people go out on a limb and try to support your team through hard times.

PS. remember to ice during half time to avoid to much swelling

maybe it's just me but that part of your post just does not make much sense to me - Snyder is ostensibly a very knowlegeable person - why is he going to change how he does things? how can you not mind someone that continues to be the main reason we will remain a mediocre franchise?

Danny is light years away from realizing how to win in this league. His org chart is only rivaled by Jerry Jones....Snyder and Vinny have placed such little emphasis on the draft and hand out picks to other teams quicker than an old lady hands out candy to 3 year olds standing at her door on Halloween

they have so much MONEY tied into these aging players ...theyve prolonged the inevitable---FOR WHAT??? 7 WINS!!!!....great were a 7 win team and THEN WELL BLOW IT UP?.......and blowing things up is not easy and costly

for instance Portis is huge salry cap problem ...heck he might be the starter for at least 2-3 more years after this given whats owed to him

Snyder is an horrific owner.....I got the trophy case to prove it.
He lags bigtime in this divsion and sadly the fans know it
John Cooke at least ADHERED to an NFL ORG CHART and believed in stability(granted Norv was here too long)..im very confident in my belief Cooke would have eventually brought in the right GM ....because the setup was there ...he just needed to get it right
