This is a fundemental problem that won't be solved as long as long as Zorn is still here. There is no motivation on the field on either side of the ball, especially the offense.

We need a shakeup in coaches. Until that happens, we are exactly who we think we are.

I'll be back in a few days after the tantrums are done...ttfn

It doesn't matter who the coach is. The common denominator is Snyder.

Hey Welch, does this remoind you of anything, like going back to the days of Coach Bill Austin and QB Geroge Izo? Geez, I thought those days were over. But, here they are, back again. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

"Meet the new boss. Same as the old Boss." Uh, actually since things are supposed to be better, that actually makes the worse.

The lions controlled time of possession in the first half because the D had no answer for the Lions offensive line. Never thought I would ever say that.

Another failed TD attempt early, and a very predictable fourth down call.

Never should have declined that 3rd down penalty. That was arrogant, believing the lions couldn't score a TD off that.

Offensive line has been horrible in the run game, although they haven't had a chance to get a rhythm. Although, they look like they don't deserve that chance.

Two third down plays short of the marker and a pick by Campbell didn't help. Offense missed a lot of chances and were forced into being one dimensional.

Officials screwed them multiple times, but you can't put yourself in a position where that decides the game.

Braves playing the Nats at DC today. I think I even heard a round of boos there. They must have posted the score at that game.

I'm thankful that I can't see it. I'd hate to throw my remote through my LCD.

Samuels with some genius insight. He says the Lions made more plays than the Skins did. Wow! True genius.

We are horrible on 3rd downs on both sides of the ball. We were O-fers on 3rd down in the first half and they were 8 for 11.

Really? Who cares? Does it get any worse than this? Barely beating a bad Rams team and losing to a better (than Rams) team? Who else wouldn't do that?

Yeah? What's his excuses this time? 8 minutes of possession in the first half? on the last drive with less than 1 minute to go and he has them passing down the middle to slow receivers? 4th and 1 and he calls the most obvious play in the NFL, Portis to the left side? Got stuffed, of course!!!!

Oh, I don't know...

Maybe the rotten corpse of my great-great-great-great-grandfather?

Can't be much of a downgrade there, can it? And I bet the Redskins can get him cheap.

I am sickened (but not surprised) that we are now being called "homecoming" by other NFL teams.

In the 4th game of the season? Would he come here? Is Dannyboy willing to let his racket ball partner go if that's what gets another "proven" coach here?

There are several ex-head coaches that are currently unemployed. Holgrem (sp?), Shanahan, Gruden, Cowher (Good god I would become sick if he came in).

Anyone one of them would be an improvement.

The problem today WAS NO DIFFERENT than i has been. From the start, inside the 10 you're supposed to score 7. They got stuffed, and it fired up the Lions. Just like last week.

Stafford made some good plays today, and the defense gave up 13 in the first half.

Second half, they played solid and allowed only 1 score in how many possessions? They stopped the lions on EVERY possession but 1 in the second half, giving the offense SEVERAL opportunities to win this game.

YOU HAVE TO SCORE POINTS TO WIN. 14 POINTS IS NOT ENOUGH TO EXPECT TO BEAT ANYONE, INCLUDING THE LIONS.

Even a sinking ship still needs a captain. Could it get any worse, well, with Dannyboy and his yes man running the franchise I think it could get worse. I don't know how, but they'd figure a way to make it happen.
