And Zorn did??
It didn't seam to hurt Andy Reid or John Harbough, having never called plays. I'm sure there are a bunch of other examples, but those two came to mind first.

1) I would destroy the TV and the living room;
2) I would not leave the living room FOREVER; and
3) I would not fix the TV and the living room in constant fear of watching another game EVER.
Or ...
I would hold Dan Snyder and his sidekick
ACCOUNTABLE for this mess.

A reminder then. But then I would probably have strength in numbers.

1. I would be really hungover on Monday.
2. I don't think The Danny would fire Corney Zorny (though he should) and I would hope Campbell not get benched because it is not all his fault.
3. After I calm down, have accepted the final realization that this team is going no where and sober up I would convince myself that these types of loses are neccesary to hit rock bottem and rebuild.
4. I would spend the next Sunday with my family at the park rather than watch the game.

Well, they aren't going to lose but if they did...
I WOULD NOT declare my team's chances done for the year OR drop my Sunday Ticket/Super Fan package and stop watching the Skins OR take my Skins decal off my car OR stop wearing my Burgundy and Gold OR otherwise change my fan stripes...

That's great.
But don't confuse dissent with lack of love for the team or, conversly that only blind loyalty defines being a fan.
Remember, to dissent is a fundamental right in our society as a whole and that would certainly translate to the world of sports.
Just because we yell, scream and get emotional does not mean we are not fans nor that we do not support the team. We don't need to pretend they stank don't stink though - that's for sure.

i love the redskins but the way that our offense is moving in the redzone this year there i possibility of the lions making some big plays. this game is not certain and i am nervous but if we lose we need to look at changing something around here

Agreed! BUT some comments have taken it a little over the top, don't you think? It's like those people who say. "If so-and-so wins the Presidential election, I am moving to Canada..."
I would probably be voicing more dissent if the pendulum wasn't so, so, so swung in the Our Team Sucks and I am not watching any more games and I hope we lose the rest of our games so we can draft Tebow direction.
Isn't there some middle ground? How would we like it if our players, coaches or ownership were so defeatist?

And what would be wrong with that?
We have happyly taken a bunch of you good people in already.
Besides, you have to admit it, there have been some Presidents that ... never mind.

Touche, Oh Canada! No disrespect.
Do Canadians ever threaten to move to the US?

Kinda off topic but only slightly.. on the way in this morning I listened to 106.7 but I don't know the names of the guys. Anyways, topic.. do you as fans ever hope your team loses. They were using Skins vs. Lions actually and I was able to hear a total of 5 call ins.
4 said yes they hope the Skins lose. Reasons they gave was the FO thing, players not caring, Zorn can't call plays, too conservative.. yada yada.. One guy said he got offended by the Skins players reaction to fans booing and so he wants them to lose just so they can realize how right the fans were.
1 person said no he doesn't want them to lose vs. the Lions or ANY team for that matter. I agreed 100% as most of you on THN will agree.
All 5 callers prefaced their comments with how they are born and raised here, yada yada yada.

Those guys who hope the Skins lose, you as fans officially SUCK! and you need to move to Philly where its socially acceptable to wish bad things on your team.
*EDIT*.. I also voted for "nothing...."

If we lose to the lions, then "we are who they thought we were!"
We're still in the first four games...

Glass half full perspective...
Personally I'm not turning it in. We're still in the first four weeks. The year the Giants went all the way they stunk the first two and a half games. I know, they at least scored some points blah, blah, blah but the team sucked. Then came the second half of the game at Fed/Ex and they found their identity. I watched the game on sunday and the red zone offense had me ready to beat my kids it was so bad. The one thing I noticed was that the 'skins moved the ball at will between the 20's. After 10 years with the Danny running things I've become a patient man. If we lose (and that's a big IF) it's not the end of the world or even the season.
But I might just kick the dog if we lose (jk)
