Mezz, to be fair, Hunter was running for his life, he had the fear of God with his legs when he got the ball (as should any punter) LMAO the others on the list, not so much.

No doubt he's an improvement, but how would Portis respond? Hiring Shanahan and if there is no Cap next year could mean Portis gets cut.

It's a useless thing to point out. It's like saying Campbell didn't throw for any touchdowns if you don't count that one to Chris Cooley. Uh. . . .OK.
I don't care how many yards this offense puts up, that's not what wins games. What wins games is scoring points, and that's not what our offense has done. Our special teams has put up more points then our offense and that is a problem. Oh and by the way the special teams are not on the field to go the length of the field. All they do is come out when being asked and they have scored when being asked.

Hire Shanahan and kiss the draft good bye and watch the defense crumble. Living here in Denver i've been witness to Shanahan. No doubt he's a good offensive guy, but his personnel decisions have been atrocious and if it wasn't for Elway and TD he wouldn't have rings. His teams were, before TD and after Elway, nothing but average.

What wins games actually is scoring MORE POINTS than your opponent.

I am fine on pointing out short-comings and areas that need improvement but am getting quite tired of the green grass over there on the other side of the fence theories. Isn't that what all you Danny-Haters claim he has been doing all along?

It is only two weeks but I am heartened and do believe we can get something done this season. We may bring the competition DOWN to our points level to do it but that is OK too.

I loved the ball control (TOP) and more efforts to spread the field. We need to get better every week no doubt but I'll keep my baby AND the bathwater too!

TOP is good but not a guarantee as proved by the colts. We need Ball control + quick strike capability if needed. So far we have neither.
