We should at least get something for him. Don't just let him leave as a FA; he's better than that.
Ok, get a 4th or 5th rounder for the man... Thats about all you're going to get. If someone is in dire need, MAYBE a 3rd but I really doubt it.

Honestly though, Betts is a good back, why not use him more? He could get in there to give CP a break.
Because Betts isn't a spell back..he's a feature back. He's got to get a head of steam rolling. I thought he showed that when CP went on IR.
This is why we can't afford to let Betts go. If something happens to CP....I still think Betts could have been used as a receiver. He has better hands out of all our backs. Steve Spurrier boy I think. You know he can catch.

This year, theres no reason why Mason shouldn't be spelling CP as our homerun threat. The Giants found time for 3 backs, we can too. To be honest, Betts should get the least amount of time IMO. (if mason proves worthy again this offseason)
This year, Thrash shouldn't be starting over anyone. It was inexcusable last year and will be again this year.
And if ARE is our starting PR....my goodness...
I agree. i don't know if Zorn was scared, or he's more conservative than he says he is, but he sure didn't seem willing to take many risks...

Good point man, 22 catches for 200 yards isn't bad at all.

True, he does have the best hands. However, CP is the better pass blocker so I would imagine that the coaches are more comfortable with CP in passing situations.
I remember Saunders loved Ladell. Zorn not so much. Maybe fallen out of favor is the more appropriate term for Betts, I mean why'd we sign Shawn Alexander? I think we could use more speed at RB, when was the last time we had a RB take it to the crib from 60+

Because CP and LB were both injured at the same time.

His hands are better but not that much. I haven't seen CP drop too many passes.
I agree that Betts is wasting his time here. I believe we could get a mid rounder for him. He's got low mileage and he proved himself in the only chance he got to show off as a featuer back. He'd do well for a team with a solid run blocking OLine.
...any given Sunday....
RIP #21 Sean Taylor. You will be loved and adored by Redskins fans forever!!!!!

The National Anthem sucks.
What a useless piece of propagandist rhetoric that is.

I'd love for him to really get to stretch his legs and get some playing time somewhere, he deserves it.
