Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

Yes, he is versatile, and an incredible blocker hitter, but remember clearly last year, his efforts costing us games. Didn't he fumble the ball on the goal line, leading to a touchdown for the opposing team?

So it wasn't the WRs dropping balls and JC on his ass b/c the line couldn't block for him. It wasn't because we didn't stretch the field and open runnign lanes for our RB. We lost games because the FULLBACK fumbled the ball.

YA HEAR THAT? DRAFT A FULLBACK AND WE'RE SUPER BOWL BOUND!!!!

Yes he had a fumble but the oline did a crappy job of trying to open the hole. If you remember, he tried to jump over Jansen or someone at RT and got blocked back. He reached over with the ball and was maybe 3 inches short and the ball got swatted away. I can not say that I hang that play soley on him. I blame the whole right side of the line. No one got any push on their guy. I think we only needed 2 yards or something.

Outside of that, I can not remember him really doing anything wrong that stands out.

I agree that he is deserving of a modest raise and bonus. The guy, IMO, is the best fullback in the NFC.
People may not remember exactly what you did
or what you said....

~BUT~
they will ALWAYS remember how you made them feel.

I think he has Pete Kendall-type figures in mind, not DeAngelo Hall-type figures in mind. What would be the harm in signing him to $1.5 mil next year instead of the $1 mil cap hit he's currently slated for?

Oh, my. Which Redskin is NOT unhappy just now?

That said, I agree. Give him a modest raise.
