But redskincity in those 3 years of 5-11 we managed to build a foundation of a good team, and not over pay players and still miss the playoffs like the Skins. I think at the end of those 3 5-11 years we , were at home for the playoffs JUST LIKE THE SKINS.

Roy williams, terrance newman,Pete Hunter,Coakly, Nygun, Brady James, Witten, Antionio Bryant, Flozell, Andre Guarode, Al johnson......All thru the draft and all are starting to come together and win, CAN YOU SAY 10-6 with no running game.

HUmm we both had Philly and NY twice
We both had the jets, atlanta,carolina,tampa,new england,buffalo, miami

THE ONLY DIFFERENCE WAS you guys had Chicago and Seattle
We had Arizone and Detroit.......

So you can stop crying that Easy schedule crap and come with HARD COLD FACTS.

Oh by the way you guys had New England, Tampa at home , we had them on the road.

No i dont get it , I dont see how we had so much of an Easier Schedule then you guys. I dont see how you guys were supposed to have all this superior talent and got whipped.

I dont see how we had a substandard RB. and a QB working on his 3rd system in 3 years and we beat yall twice and went 10-6.

NOPE JUST DONT SEE IT. But what i do see is April 24 and 25 the draft and how we gonna shine there.

There is nothing wrong with our O-line. They improved big time at the end of last season and did not play to their If we would've beat the Eagles we would've been probably 10 or 11th overall and we couldn't draft Sean Taylor.

I still dont understand why the Skins are so RILED up about next season. You guys are doing what you have been doing for years, loading up in the OFFSEASON, but getting GOOSED 27-0 on the field.

Remember you signed that PRO BOWL Linebacking core of Jessie Armstead, Lavar Arrington, and Jerimiah Trotter?

Remember at one point you had Deion Sanders, Champ Bailey and Daryl Green in the Secondary?

Everyone was suppose to be afraid of you guys because on paper, you guys looked unbeatable.

What do you guys have to show for IT??? No Super Bowls, no Playoff appearances, nothing.

Dave Campo went 5-1 against you. He is the worst Coach in Dallas Cowboys History. Bill Parcells may go undefeated against you Skins while he is headcoach.

Well...when we brought those players in we did make it to the playoffs.

But...how come Dallas didnt win while Joe Gibbs was heading the throne???

Because we have a coach, a good coach. Cowboy fans should understand. Look at your anticipation last year. Spurrier was the coach and well the Qb in that 27-0 game had a 0.0 passer rating... the score should have been worse. Anyways mick green...my username on the guide was skin48 and they banned me for some reason. I was just defending my team. I like yalls board and wish I could still debate football with yall but oh well. You and Gambit are model cowboy fans which is something I cant say of the moderators of that website.

They have since added a sticky at the top "To Opposing Fans"

I never posted any curse words except when the moderator changed by avatar. He is a real funny guy. 34 would close topics for no reason. Maybe they didnt like the fact that I was right in my opinion. Funny thing is a lot of dallas fans agreed with me and I think that riled 34 up. The guy had this moronic argument about Duce Staley...I pointed out that Duce would be a good fit in Big D and he said NO just because Duce played for the Eagles!! I did nothing more than what you and Gambit have done today. RedRaider kept telling me go find a skins board. The fact is if you are not a Cowboy fan dont go to that board. It is just ridiculous that I am banned for stating my opinion.

Well, Mike...if a team has only been around since 1960, and its first coach lasted 28 years (270-178-6... Now, that's a coach!), and was followed by only five others (count with me, Mike...Johnson, Switzer, Gailey, Campo and Parcells), it's not hard to pick out the weak link in that chain.(Of course, Gailey-Switzer-Campo ran a one-legged race, trying to follow a legend who replaced a legend.) SOMEBODY had to be the worst coach. Campo finished last in a six-man race. It's not like you've had, say, 25 head coaches in your history, as we have.
We're riled up because Gibbs is back.

^^^^ Dont think I really get your point West. The Cowboys have a HISTORY of winning, you can spin it either way you like. Out of all of our Coaches, only 1 has a losing record, and he still went 5-1 against you.


Skins48, like other Cowboys fans have said, Cowboysguide.com is not my site, I just started posting there about 2-3 weeks ago, and I barely even post there anymore because I found 2-3 other boards that I like more. I even started a post asking "WHY" topics were so quickly closed and they told me just to read the STICKY NOTES about the rules. I know some of those guys HAVE strong views and seemed to try and throw their weight around a little. I could care less, I LIVE in Dallas, so I am use to having those type of debates and whether people want to beleive it or not, the MOST knowledgable fans of AMERICA'S TEAM are in Dallas, IMO.

Yeah I didn't either until Tx_Skins_Fan told me the owner was a Skins fan, and they meet there alot. You might hit him up and get more info. I work in Plano, so made a mental note to never go there...hahahaha not really I will go in there wearing my Boys stuff to get the owner all mad! There is also a really good Philly Cheessteak place in Plano owned by a game from Philly, so I always give him hell when I go there!

Ooops, I think if they can build up Fair Park and get us back to Fair Park I would love it! I think if they can follow the plans from DallasCowboysPark.com it will turn out great, not sure on the seating size of fair Park but might have to be totally redone.

First, let me say I think comparing Gibbs to Johnson...well, I don't know. I'm uncomfortable with that comparision. Joe's a HOF coach. Maybe Landry is a better comparision. Don't get me wrong, I thought JJ was a genius. An evil genius, but still a genius. He built his team up the way he wanted, and had the benefit of something like 471 draft picks from the Walker trade. He won with that team. When he went to Miami, he had to play with a local legend that was starting to break down. He even gave Thurman Thomas a try, didn't he ? In the end, he gave it up because he didn't want to be the guy that cut Dan Marino.
All we did with Gibbs is win games. We haven't done that so much since he left. You're telling me you can't see why we're so riled up? I think you can see why, because the alternative is that I have to believe that you really don't know anything about this game and I'm not gonna do that until you've shown me that you don't.
