-It's hard to break out when you're underneath of Jason Taylor...

-It's hard to break out at DE when your team doesn't have good DT's...

We have the DT's and now we can TRULY evaluate our young ends. They were all playing at a disadvantage do to our DT situation.

Hard to say Chris, man I was really hoping to build on the Dline we've got and it looked for a hot min that we were gonna have big namers up front (LoL yah, JT was a stinker, but he was hurt, I would've liked to see how he would pan out with a monster DT up the middle)

We are looking pretty thin at LB's, draft need maybe or infuse youth at the O line? ah we have good nuff safeties to cover the middle right?

See, we CANNOT fill every hole this off-season. In 2-3 years we'll be set if we play our cards right. I feel that we have talent at DE that we could possibly play with this year... Especially if we resign some of these guys.

It's hard to say Wilson sucked in the past cus he wasn't put into position to win cus of our horrible DT's. Same goes with the rest of the defense. Now that we have proper DT's (hopefully), we can expect elevated play from everyone. Those who don't rise to the occasion can be cut knowing that they were in position to succeed but could not.

I'm hoping to draft a LB or OT, maybe Laryngitis (sp?) will still be there from Ohio State...

Laryngitis will hit you so hard you won't be able to talk afterwards.

It's Laurinaitis. Lol.

I see the next cuts coming to free up space:

Jason Taylor
Shawn Springs

Dock and Springs down - Taylor to go.

Here's hoping it happens.

DarthMonk

And, here's hoping it doesn't. This guy still has a lot in the tank, and likely to be used in a more effective way. With AH taking up 2 or 3 blockers on many plays, he Taylor's opportunities for plays just increased.

If you want to cut off your nose to spite your face, however...

I concur. I don't think DarthMonk will look very good with no nose, though.

I fear an opportunity has been lost, and 13 will now be used on Orakpo instead of an OT... (worse things could happen, though... like my wife could force me to spend 3 hours at some off the wall European Techno Music Festival... ](*,) )

Everyone thinks Haynesworth is going to play every game. Odds are that he won't. So if the D-line sucked before, its going to suck even more on the games he's out.

Give me the starting D-line on games that Haynesworth is out and tell me if you are satisfied. You have to expect that will be 4-5 games a season, right?

ttit has that new stadium that is like the biggest man made structure on planet earth so I for one am glad we are stocking up warriors like Dock and Albert, a great draft would go a long way to positioning us for a deep push for the division.

In the basic configuration, Dallas stadium still seats less than FedEx.

Welcome to the Dallas Cowboys new stadium. This tour will give you a feel for the enormity of the structure which will seat approximately 80,000 but can be expandable to up to 100,000 for major events, like a Super Bowl, which could be held in the Metroplex as early as February of 2011. The retractable roof stadium will incorporate some of the historical features of Texas Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys for the past 35 years.

It'd be last years defensive line, the line we've had for the past 3 years. A line that is mediocre but not horrible. A line that made it to the playoffs without him... We can live without him for a few games if need be. It won't be too much of an issue if our offense is much improved.

I'm really excited to hear the Redskins are trying to being back Pete Kendall. I mean, I really like him, so if he comes back to backup... it's be pretty nice depth on the line.

He's a quality back up and knows the system. He was durable considering his arthritic knees. He wasn't the only one taking Wednesdays off, so that point isn't really valid, either.
