It was sad the way you treated Tom Landry - can't see us doing that to Coach Joe...tsk tsk tsk

Well, since this thread was for 'coaches', let's do this tally:
Gibbs with the Burgundy and Gold: 4 SB Trips; 3 SB rings
Parcells with the Cows: 0 trips; 0 rings.
Now let's move forward from there...

You implicates me personally, I at the time was over in South Korea, what you meant to say was Jerry Jones.
Just like what Daniel Synder done to Bobby Mitchell, Frank "da man: Herzog, and other Redskin Icons.
Lets not go there cause there are many things Synder can do to improve his image.

Now since u started that thread lets take it a step further
How many winning season has each coach had in the modern day era of free agency and salary cap constraints.
Parcells lots
Giggs none (yet)
Lets not go there with the whole Gibbs/Beatherd/Cooke debate. Cause u may end up LOSING.

How convenient. Please - you use the word 'we' all the time. We all do. I don't give a diddly what you were doing or where you were. The subject was coaches and your holier-than-thou attidude don't play here. YOU kicked Landry to the curb and I cry whenever I think about it. WE all do...

LOL, ok gambit....now while Gibbs hasn't roamed the sidelines since Plan B, the last I checked it's still 11 men on the field, still 15 minute quarters, the QB still snaps the ball, and a touchdown is still worth six before the PAT. You're talkin business, but the GAME hasn't changed. And even when you talk business, Joe has still shown the acumen for success. Joe Gibbs Racing employs how many people? How many drivers? How many Winston Cups?
When Joe first came to DC, he changed the game (hey, the NFL shortened the play clock cuz of Joe) and spawned many imitators...when he left and went to NASCAR, he changed the game there too, with unprecedented success for what was "inexperienced" ownership...so now that he's back, let the pundits tell him he can't do it...in two years he'll be the blueprint that the NFL copycats will follow to success...

Landry's time was up. The Man was a legend but he needed to pass the torch and retire, that's where old Jonesy decided it for him. THats just how things work in Dallas, and unfortunately ever where else too....for the most part.
Its not what have you done for me, but what have you done for me lately. I see Gibbs being a exception to that rule. Snyder is his biggest fan and unless we really "sh@t the bed" for several years Snyder won't fire him. Gibbs would retire first.
