I'd like to thank him, but I want to make sure he delivers, first.

I'm glad Ryan Clark walked off the field... and that Willis McGahee was moving... hope he's ok. What a collision.

Apparently, both are fine.

Congratulations man! You played great throughout the entire season and the Playoffs were no different.

Congratulations Countertrey, well done - I also thought that you were a constant force throughout the year.

That's why they call him the mailman.

Congratulations, CT. I wish I had made the big game. I would have taken the title; I was the only one picking the Cards.

Thanks, guys... I couldn't have done it without the help of The Redeemed One.

At least they were both good games yesterday... Pitt/Crows went just about as I expected... awesome defenses, and one offense just a little better than the other...

I was really surprized by 'zona, though...

I have no problem with saying un-equivocally that the victory was yours and was in no way in my opinion due to someone who shall go nameless

I have had some success this year going with the better defense and the team that I felt were hungry - I wanted the Cardinals but could not believe that even with both their wideouts healthy they could have beaten the eagles and I still think the eagles would have won if #5 had a decent game instead of throwing so many passes off the mark. That last drive by the Cardinals was a thing of beauty.

I also still think that while the point was driven home by both the Steeler defense and the stupid TV guys that the Steelers' defense was the best in the NFL - the ravens defense can put a hurtin' on you and I thought that they could get the job done.

no worries - hopefully the Cardinals can get lucky but I would only pick them if someone here felt it was "ordained" that the cardinals should be the winners in 2 weeks

Agree... if 5 is hitting his wide open receivers, instead of 2 yards behind them, that game is Philly's by 14.

I want to say, though, that if healthy, the Ravens have the better D. Dude... they were down 3 cornerbacks at one point, and were still giving Burgermeister fits.

Note to Greg Blache... see how effective a 3rd string cornerback can be when the opposing quarterback is running for his life. (hint... a pass rush would be nice... PUH LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE)

Burgermeister ended up pulling the Steelers jocks out of the fire, but only because is is seasoned, and one tough son of a gun...

I'm also reminded how much heart Ryan Clark has... that was one monster hit.

Most amusing moment of the day... during the Balt/Pitt game, mid second quarter, Ravens have yet to gain a first down... one of the clowns with a microphone comments: "I think this is going just the way the Ravens want it." Ummm hello... they haven't gotten a first down.

Hey guys!

I have been really busy recently. But I want to take this opportunity to say THANKS to two people who were instrumental in getting the Hognostications going:

Hoss and JSPB22. Each one of them helped out with different stages of this competition.

I also wish to thank BossHog for the job done for a few weeks before it was impossible for him to come back to the site.

We should organize ourselves for next season and help out in whatever form we can.

To all my brothers and sisters who participated in this competition: Thanks. It was fun.

Congratulations to SkinsJock and Countertrey the champs for the regular season and the playoffs, respectively.

I second everything RiC said here. I've been remiss in not congratulating trey for his postseason victory. To he and SkinsJock, you guys were great.

Were.
To paraphrase my man Agent Smith from The Matrix, "you've had your time. The future is my time..."

Thank you!
Ummm... Keep in mind... Agent Smith eventually got his butt handed to him, as I recall...
