The funniest thing about this thread is that our season ended 5-weeks ago.
Washington football community discussions spanning the Redskins to Commanders era. 20+ years of game analysis, player discussions, and fan perspectives.

I for one, am done. And if you really want to make your voice heard, boycott them for the rest of the season. Don't buy tickets, don't go to any games, don't ask for any Redskins stuff for Christmas, stop watching the games on TV, nothing. Teams don't exist without fans. And why should we, the fans keep supporting a team that doesn't support us? This organization needs an enima from the top down. But, untill that happens, they won't get another penny from me. And I won't be wasting any of my time watching them lose on TV. They are an embarrasement to football, the NFL and the fans. I only wish I could make millions doing nothing.
Like our starting roster. I am ashamed to even wear my Redskin clothes in public, because I know people are laughing at me.
How putrid is that?
The Detroit Lions try harder then we do.

I'm unfortunate enough to live in southeast Michigan (the second worst place on earth behind the middle east), and this is true. I'd trade places with a Detroit fan in a minute right now.

Go ahead, no one is stopping you ... it's one thing to bemoan how badly this team has played, it's another thing to be envious of a team that's going to go 0 AND 16 ... that's just insane.

We look worse then the Lions do.

I agree, I said this awhile ago, and I saw this pattern even when Gibbs here, and I got blasted for it. None of my money is going to that organization as long as Danny owns the team. Or Danny proves that he can win consistently, I am sick of this one year playoff, and we suck again the next year. Zorn is not the problem, bad lines equal bad team. Bad Qb plus bad lines equal horrendous offense. Here is what I think needs to be done.
We have a first round pick, third, and 4th.
1rst devote to the D-line they need to be upgraded like none other.
3rd- New Center
4th- New Guard
-Start the new center and plug in the new guard, thats two poitions taken care of. With the D-lineman plug him in and ether JT or one of the Dt's will be replaced. If he is a DT, still bench Taylor and put in anyone else.
Start Colt Brennan lets see what he can do.
-Trade JC he is not the guy, he has been here for four years. You can't make a career as a perpetual student.
-Heyer in over Jansen lets see what he can do, Rhinehart replace Pete.
-Sign another Running back, Portis does not have the build to carry the load over the whole course of the season. Thats why his body broke down. He can't carry the ball over twenty times a game, and have the same production level at the end of the season as he did in the beginning. He does not have the build for that.
-Get rid of Betts
We have more holes, but one can't fix them all in one off season. ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN ONE DAY.

Jim Zorn's inexperience really shows as a first year head coach. I think this team would be in a lot better position if Zorn was the OC with Fassel as the Head Coach.
That said, I think Jim Zorn will be okay, it seems like all the players (with the notable exception of CP) like him a lot. Hopefully we're done with the growing pains.

Detoit played the Colts tough today; what did we do? The insanity is the continued monetary support Dan Snyder gets from us while his franchise does nothing but produce fecal matter on Sundays. How sad it is that this comparison even came up at all. The skins suck badly and will continue to do so for a long time.

90,000 strong and we can't get any emotion going at home?
I have been to every home game, and for the most part, people sit around as though they were in a neighbor's backyard sipping on Zima and watching the kids swim in the pool. No one even notices that there is a game going on until it is too late.
I am sure this doesn't apply to most of you, but I have seen way too many fans that don't have any emotion during home games.
sec 450....
St. Louis? Pittsburgh? Dallas? NYG???
Where is the loud and proud fanbase that used to be a presence at our home field?

Yeah you're so right. This is the second week in a row where JC has fumbled on our side of the field giving the opponent an easy score. And I could not BELIEVE that he fumbled on the goal line, giving up the game tying score! What a sucky QB!!!!!
Oh wait. That wasn't Jason Campbell was it? My bad.
