Hall actually IS doing more than the rest of our corners. He's catching balls. He's making QBs think twice.

Carlos got beat big time against the ravens for a long TD. Should he be benched also?

Though I agree Hall is playing better and deserves the spot. I have always been a Smoot fan, and I can see why he would be pist. He lost his starting job.

He was drafted here. Went to Min and didn't do good. Skins welcomed him back and never doughted his skills. Then he gets benched by a guy who gets beat by T.O. and Romo throws the ball way behind T.O. and Hall just happended to be there. That one should not count, when compairing Hall and Smoot. Because Hall was beat and out of place on that play.

Remember when Springs ran into Hall and made him drop the INT. Everyone blams Springs on that play, but no one is asking why a cover corner, is back in the saftey position all alone on that play. Could the WR done a come back route and left Hall running down field? He might have been way out of position on that play as well.

I just reread my posts, and I didn't say anything about anyoen getting benched. I said Hall is our best CB atm. When someone moves up, someone else moves down. Simple to comprehend, really.
is there a play off power poll available for viewing we finish with 10 wins and there will be nickle to play and to win means to have great defense, soooo we need smoot and I think that he is a great tackler too hey he runs so well with these recievers that a littke pressure will get him a pick. or hall, and carlos is solid, #30 is becoming a ball hawk and the fact remains that smooooooot is part of a great group of people and the dbs will be fine.

lets keep the corners and start going to FA 300lb dlineman and figure out how to prolong taylors career all in the same breath. + blitz corners, after all even I would like to get the aging (all be it brillant) fletcher a pick six. and a fond memory for the other teams offense watching #59 go for about 55+ YARDS

as long as corlos gets burrned it is because of his role and the defense is never out there getting there butts kicked they have played good all year.
that should be expected....I only need for rogers to get his and for it to mean something big, although I will admit rogers has improved as aposed to years past over all, he is due an int. if that happens then we love the post.

biggest Question to me is what to do with springs oh ya free safty help

I like Smoot, but i have to say that Hall has been playing a lot better than Smoot. Look at the numbers, 4 games with the Redskins, Hall has 2 INTs (could've had 3 had it not been for Springs), and a fumble recovery. If you produce, then you get more playing time, simple as that.

Hall is absolutely better than smoot but Carlos rogers is having his best season ever. Yeah Hixon ate him up a little I(no pass rush) so IMO Rogers#1, Hall#2, Springs/Smoot#3................Carlos has brick hands no doubt and can't catch but has been nails this year pretty much. Hall has made some picks which is sweet and IMO makes him better than Smoot+ is a pro Bowl level guy and a great addition (provided he not bring his ipod to the game like he did in Atl) I don't think the picks allow me, at this point in the season to say that Hall is better than Rogers as I think Carlos has been way solid this year........Now getting back on track, Smoot should shut hiss pie hole cuz he is not as good as Hall and has no real reason to complain about lack of playing time when Rogers and Hall are both healthy.
