But everyone we draft, or Free Agents need to fill spots of weakness which we rarely do. Fred Davis did not fill a need, Malcolm Kelly did not fill a need (bc we had already drafted a WR, we didnt need 2)

But we DID, in fact, need 2 WRs. We had staying definitely: Moss, ARE, Thrash. With Zorn's new offense, I really don't see us sitting with 4 WR when Thrash is one of 'em. I liked what Thrash has done for the team, but his time is passing quickly. We NEEDED two WRs in this offseason, whether it was FA/trade/draft. Especially in the draft when it takes multiple years to bring a WR up to speed. I expect a lot bigger things from at least 1 if not both of these WRs.

I hope your right Vet, I would love to see these 2 pan out. But I am not so sure we needed 2 WRs that early in the draft, when we had other needs. At that point, we still had Moss, ARE, Thrash, Mix in there. I thought Mix had alot of potential along with others so we didnt really NEED 2 WRs.

I'm not condoning 3 receivers drafted in the 2nd, just that we needed 2 WRs from last off-season(since we didn't keep Mix). I'm not sure THESE two guys are the right guys, but they address needs.

any way to get a category "how many contract years left" on that list?

hard to argue keeping anyone on that list. and yes DEFINITELY J Taylor as well(we wuz robbed i tell ya!) &/or can we dupe some team into giving us either players or draft picks for those guys who are 1yr left players?

how about moving ARE to QB? he definitely has a higher QB rating of 152.1 this year. lol

I'd keep Rabach, though it would be good to be looking for a center of the future. I'd offer Springs and Washington the chance to stay for less and cut them if they declined. I'd bring Daniels to camp and keep him if and only if he's healthy, he's still a good reserve for 2 mil if he is.

I'm totally with cutting El, especially now that he sucks as a kick returner. My only concern with Jansen is I know he'd gotten a big signing bonus and extension and while this may be his cap number I'm not sure what the hit is to cut him. He was a great Skin for a long time, but it seems like his time has come.
