Holding onto Thrash, Betts, and Jansen and letting go of that receiver from Virginia and Mason have been big mistakes this year. Also, we should have foreseen Washington's problems. It's all a mistake to stick with Campbell so doggedly when it's clear he'll face a stiff rush. He's not ready for it. I'd give Collins a shot against the Giants if Campbell starts the game badly, which he will.
Welcome back....not sure if you have been around since the preseason but Marcus Mason is on an active roster so unless he gets cut, he will not be a Redskin. Not to mention, all he did was run the ball well against 3rd Stringers and only the "Ravens?" felt that he was worth a shot. No one else in the league made an attempt to sign him off our PS.
As for Collins, that's just not going to happen. JC has not cost us a game. Now, he hasn't won a game for us either. I feel like Joe Gibbs is still in his mind and his fear for making a mistake is holding him back. I would love JC to get around Favre a little in the off season to learn that its ok to take some risks once in a while. The only way Collins gets in the game is either by injury, blowout by us, or a trick play.
I hope this caught you up on a few things. One other thing, this will probably be Thrash's last season with the Redskins. He has not done much on S. Teams and with the way that the Redskins used Kelly this past Sunday, I feel that he will be the 3rd receiver going forward.
Actually, Mason was on the Ravens' PS, until the Jets signed him. And Jason
has won us a couple of games this year. It's not all Portis.

I know Boschetti has played for us.
But he never made a push for a starting job.
What I don't understand, is why not try someone different from another practice squad?
Not that I have anyone one in mind, I don't know other teams practice squads. But I would imagin a team that consistantly have good Ds would have a good practice squad guy. Like NE, they breed guys I think. The Steelers, know how to draft and teach.
My point is, we know what Ryan can do. But we also already know he's not starting material. So, why not steel a guy that has potential to be a starter. I mean, I think we need some big bulk up front in the middle.
Even if you get a big giant of a guy, who's not that good. He will still clog up running lanes.

the dline ran fairly well last game I saw fletcher makes some hits is he hurt, I love the skins on defense is there any depth at line backer.

Too bad Alexander didn't get to come in for a play against Seattle... I'm sure he would've got a nice ovation... I was disappointed Zorn didn't think to do that... couldn't have been worse than what Betts did when he was in there...

So what do I do now with my #37 Alexander jersey? I guess I'll put in the closet next to my #36 Duckett jersey, #30 Trung Canidate and #23 Ki-jana Carter jersey.
