I've seen us do that a few times. I'm guessing that either Davis or Jason have not shown the ability to execute the plays.
Its also not like we have put ourselves in a position to go out there and run plays that may or may not work. Hell, we have been in a dogfight in every game.
If we can get a lead for once, then maybe we can try those but until then, I don't see us doing anything tricky.

I disagree. It's the tricks we really need. We've been smashmouth, vanilla passing game offense since the divisional games. We need more flare to keep defenses honest.

We have Thomas and Davis....
Both them can't be mental deficient. The issue is that Zorn hasn't found a way to implement them into the game effectively. It falls on his shoulders.
Deshaun Jackson is not Einstein, he's stupid. He spiked the ball before getting in to the endzone... Andy Reid knows how to use him. Zorn needs to learn how to use his guys.

Frankly, I'm surprised that they haven't used Davis as a possession WR, who would also do an excellent job of controlling the corner to help with the run game.

Best play of the year!

I've been saying for a few weeks now that he could be the 3rd/4th WR in a spread formation.
