It's the way it should be, imo. Other teams, like Philly, that are incorporating their rookies (Jackson) early on, are basically being forced to use them due to injuries. We've all seen the mistakes made by Jackson to date.

I have no doubt that Thomas, Davis and Kelly will eventually be a big part of the game plan, but making them earn their stripes, or helmet decals, as Zorn previously said, is not a bad way to go about it. Our entire offense will benefit from that in the near future.

I can't wait to see Malkolm Kelly become an active part of this offense. If he contributes atleast as much as Devon Thomas, we'll have a glut of talent between WR and TE. Throw in a good FB and some production from Fred Davis, and oh my Gosh.

I just wish Thomas would quit with the offensive pass interference.

Agree'd. One or two is excusable, time #3 it turns into a problem.

And that's why Zorn is taking his time with them. Good coaching, once again. Thomas did get us a nice 1st down and Thomas got on the field for quite a few plays. Even though neither had many thrown their way, getting on the field will help the learning process.

Both are talented guys. We've been getting it done without them. Just think what it will be like when they get in there full time.
