No, I'm pretty upset about it. My wife is a lifelong, devoted Patriots fan dating back to Steve Grogan. She also went out of her way to secure game tickets for the Patriots versus the Buffalo Bills on December 28th. Now I have to live with her disappointment for the entire football season, including the game on December 28th. Unless I can somehow secure Tom Brady's autograph on a game jersey, she will remain disappointed through the entire offseason and until Brady is playing again.

With all due respect, nobody will regret Tom Brady being out for the season more than I will.

I work outside Boston right now on a consulting gig and I can tell you there were a lot of really LONG faces today. You just mention the weekend and that's what you hear about. I don't blame them. They're still a good team, but unless what's his name Matt Something is a lot better then expected they're probably toast regarding winning the Super Bowl.

The NBC coverage of this last night was absolutely ridiculous. There are a myriad of teams out there with much less talent available and they are just getting on with theor jobs. I hate the way the media has boiled everything down to just two or three teams/personalities per sport now. As far as i am concerned this makes the AFC race all the more exciting - and now we'll see what the Pats are REALLY made of. We have 16 more regualr-season weeks of great games, upsets, injuries etc etc ahead - bring it on! I can't wait for it and certainly won't be losing sleep over Brady being gone, just like I didn't lose sleep over Bledsoe being gone. One door closes, another opens and a new star maybe emerges. this is the NFL, this is how it works.

Somewhere, Curly Lambaeu turned to George Halas. They nodded. It was done.

They ran the score up last year, and now my hatred for them is only second to the Cowboys.

Amen to that.

I'm hoping they get a little taste of their own medicine from the teams they play against this year.

I got nothing personally against Brady to want to see him hurt, but I really want to see Bellicheat suffer.

Coaching genius my achin'...

I've never gotten this thing on "running up the score." Who cares? Why is that such a big deal? They kicked our butts, why shouldn't they be able to do with the plays left what they want to. Shouldn't we worry about sucking less instead of who's showing us we suck?

Obviously since I posted the following:

I care...and I think a few people followed my sentiments.

I only wish that if this had to happen, it would have happened during that garbage time in our game last season. That would have taught Belicheat a valuable life lesson.

In fact all players should wear a brace. Every single player on the field stands a good chance of an Knee buckling.

It is just a comfort thing with players who dont wear them. I agree that QBS should all wear them. JC should be wearing one with his knee being injured once last year.

Back to the topic. I am one who is happy that Brady went down. Since that beating we took last year , I have nothing but hate for Bellicheck and there boys. WooHoo!
