I see where you're going, but I think there are some things that can be developed; good footwork, quick release and reading defensive schemes. (Most college coverages are not as complex as some pro level schemes.) One guy that comes to mind is a former Redskin named Rich Gannon. A career journeyman who blew up when he got to Oakland and became a Pro Bowl caliber QB after having what seemed to be an average NFL career.
I TOTALLY agree that Zorny needs to build schemes that play to Campbell's strengths since he's not the ideal QB for this offense. So is JC being developed properly? My answer would be YES if he were still playing in a system under Joe Jackson Gibbs WITHOUT Al Saunders, but now I say we have to wait since he's now under Zorn's "seahawk" wing.
