I never said I'd watch any fewer games (and I won't), or I'm any less of a fan (because I'm not) just because the Skins may not be good. I watched every one of their games and was just as much of a fan when they went 3-13 as I was when they won the SB. Just because I may be more realistic than some of the blindly optumistic fans doesn't make me any less of a fan.

12-4 is optimistic
8-8 give or take with a new coach and new system is realistic
4-12 for a team that made the playoffs last year and has a lot of talent is PESSIMISTIC
That's the point. You're not saying people thinking playoffs are in a serious stretch now, you're saying a team with a good D and a lot of talent on O absolutely SUCKS. That's the point, what kind of a "fan" runs down their team? I'm not saying you're not a fan, just trying to keep you on track as to the point.

Is this the riddle of the Sphinx?
How can there possibly be an orderly connection of two divergent points?
For that matter, what are the two divergent points?
I understand the room for doubting anyone will agree with a 4-12 record.

No, this is:
What walks on four legs in the morning, two legs in the afternoon, and three legs in the evening?

Mason has looked better than Cartwright this preseason. But yeah, any team would likely be in trouble if they lost their two top running backs.

THANK YOU!!! No one is saying were going to be freaking awesome! We are just saying that we dont absolutley suck like a 4-12 record would say. We especially dont think we suck when we have not even played a dang game yet!

....for saying the Panthers game was a prelude to how the regular season is going to look. How many of you are with me now when I say this team will be lucky to go 4-12? This team is absolutely pathetic.
I remember that these players won through to the playoffs last year, even with Jason Campbell hurt.
Zorn is new, but we'll see.

Still too early to tell what kind of record the Redskins will end up with. 4-12 is as possible as 12-4 right now because they haven't played a single down that counts yet.
I'm not saying ownership isn't trying to win, but some of the moves with personnel and coaches haven't worked out. I don't want to think that the Redskins can't win another championship, but, well intended or not, ownerships decisions seem to be making it harder and harder to win. Given the recent track record, it does make it more difficult to be SUPER opimistic. I still have high hopes and I'm definitely pulling for the ant to move that rubber tree plant.

Nah, I bet not. Its how the pessimists roll:
1. If the team loses....they say: "See I was right"
2. If they win... they say: "Glad I was wrong"
Its my Dad in a nutshell. Drives me crazy.....

Well, we could still lose the next 11 straight...still an outside chance at 4-12!

Mathematically alive for 4-12, as they say!
