I like Seller's, and he is a quality special teams player, and "big" fullback blocker... but to say that Gibbs treated the players like kid's, that's a little imature comming from a guy who was a marginal player at best for us, Gibbs made him part of the offense last year. We had the Sean Taylor tragedy to deal with, and last but not least the man has three super bowls...
He dealt with personality's like Dexter, and Riggins, come on ......
some guy's need to have a tumb on them...

Back to the meat of Sellers words.

Yeah - Zorn's style so far is very, very relaxed.

Zorn hasn't had 90K fans, talk radio, and an involved owner out for blood yet. Year 2 you won't see Davis over sleeping, Moss hungover, 40 yard dashes and so on. Every screw up will seem like a break in the dam. He is learning to be a HC on the job. Give it time and 90K booing at the top of their lungs and ex-redskins on the radio calling his plan into question. He'll quickly become more like Gibbs and George Allen after a taste of DC reality and become very tough because the pressure will be over the top - and as a result he'll win IMO.

There is a reason guys like Bill B, Parcells, Tom C, Cowher, win superbowls. They're hardcore. Gibbs is a soft old man compared to those guys. You can see the seed of that tough in Zorn's body language and words. Give it a few years and Zorn will be every bit as mindful of his players as Gibbs.

&

A little bit indecisive, are we? I wouldn't come out and say he's the best FB in teh game, but I would say he's better than marginal. Most Fbs aren't known for their receptions and to judge THIS FB on that criteria is not quite fair IMO.

gibbs is the redskins and i,m greatful he return but it,s zorn,s time now and thats what the team needs to dwell on now.

i hope we do well,,

No need to worry about Sellers. He seems to be getting better with age.

I actually have to disagree somewhat. Personally I think that Sellers is somewhat overrated by many Redskins fans. His hands are questionable and he isn't very effective as a ball carrier in short yardage situations.

129 of his 132 career rushing yds & 222 of his 582 receiving yds (including 2 of his best 3 seasons as a receiver) were the past 2 yrs.

Seems to me they played like little Kids.

Why does a coach have to motivate players to win anyways? They should have plenty of motivation with the millions they get anyway. The fact that these players are in the NFL should be plenty of motivation to have these players going for a championship.

Sellers comments are just a cop out for the way these guys choked games away. Give me a break, get real and be a man and dont blame the great coach Gibbs for sucking! Be a man dude!

Sellers I like as a player but come on! Throwing your old coach under the bus does nothing for you in my book. Especially when it is Coach Gibbs. A three time SuperBowl Champion.

Sellers recognize and know your Role idiot!
